New 2024 Le City - What do we think?

I’m struggling not to buy one of the newer city bags in medium. I love army green and burgundy!!
I can’t find used ones in excellent condition.
Is everyone liking the new leather or is it just like every other brand cutting corners where it can?

I’m so stuck on these two 😂

The leather isn't bad on the new Cities but it's definitely not as buttery smooth as some of the old chevre bags. However, I do really love that army green color and it has tempted me before! You never know, the right oldie may pop up when you're least expecting it.

While I’m still getting use to the texture of the leather—I do love the bag. It’s quite spacious imo. Holds a ton of not just my stuff, but also my toddlers toys and extra clothes/wipes/diapers, etc

Thank you so much Ghoulish for your review on the newer leather. I absolutely am loving the army green and I’m just being impatient on my search for a beautiful olive green 😂
I will mull it over and hopefully won’t fold. Honestly I’ve been weak lately 🤣

I love the burgundy but have a hard time with the price given that a 2005 Bordeaux was $1200 brand new. I can’t wrap my head around the current prices.

It really is shocking how much all the brands have gone up in price!! It seems like you get a lesser product for more money nowadays 🥲
I love the green and burgundy but I’m holding back for now. I’m hoping to find a good older one 😊

I love, love, love the Army Green - such a good all year round colour. The hw looks really good with it too.

I love the red too, but I have a few bags that colour.

I know I keep telling myself to wait on the burgundy as I don’t really need one in that color, but that green is literally so pretty 😊

I can relate 💯 I am just so lucky these days that I can’t afford any one of these so I am not tortured… both are so lovely.

Here is me several months ago - I also thought I didn't need yet another burgundy type color besides bordeaux twiggy, Khaite Bordeaux tote, Bal grenat work and bordeaux weekender, and guess what? I bought a grenat weekender 😲 and am not sorry at all 😂😂😂

I just ordered a small one in black. This is one of my absolute dream bags and I can't wait to receive it. I own a brown city that I bought second hand and have used tons but I always longed for a black one.
