New 2024 Le City - What do we think?

I am trying to sit on my hands and not buy the Camel suede or the Army Green.

The Camel will get filthy (I repeat that to myself like a mantra) I can't think of anything negative about the AG - except the lighter, brighter zipper against the studs is more noticeable than on the Camel.

Ugh, I saw the Camel suede and I LOVE IT.

It's here and so lovely! The small size is perfect for me (5,5) and it super comfortable to wear crossbody.

The leather is very soft and feel reminiscent of the old city bag I've got. Overall I'm thrilled to finally own a black city bag!

May I ask what year your old bag is? I would love to know how these new bags feel. Thanks

hi all I saw this new colour at the store and was told it’s a limited edition colour for 520 (which is Chinese Valentine’s Day I think?). Anw it’s an amazing shade of light grey that looks kinda like pale blue 😍😍😍 and it’s sold with the charms so it’s slightly more expensive than the usual le city. I think it only comes in the small size.

They’ve rereleased the First, but calling it Le City First. It annoys me to end that they’re calling this a City First. The other luxury brands would know better than to butcher and confuse the names of their heritage pieces. Especially since the First came before the City, but now it’s playing second fiddle to the City in name.

Does anyone have any modelling shots of the mini & small versions? I've just ordered the small in black but wondering if I should have got the mini. Is the cross body strap longer on the small? I wonder if the strap will be too short for me with the mini. TIA xx

I’m struggling not to buy one of the newer city bags in medium. I love army green and burgundy!!
I can’t find used ones in excellent condition.
Is everyone liking the new leather or is it just like every other brand cutting corners where it can?

I had originally purchased the army green and the one Nordstrom sent me had been used- scuffed corners and VERY slouchy with a dust bag that had the strings broken. An associate ordered me the Burgundy, which I have now, but even with very careful daily use I am not pleased with how it is wearing. The colors ARE gorgeous, the army green was tdf but there is no way these are going to hold up like the older ones. I have a messenger that is 12 years old that you can't tell is 12 years old.
