Thank you so much for your review!! I haven’t pulled the trigger yet as I was feeling like I should go in store to look at the newer ones in person. I love those two colors you chose, but definitely don’t baby bags I love and wear. I’m concerned if you feel like this that it won’t survive my use.

hi all, im torn between getting the small or mini le city. i already own the medium in black and silver hardware but i find it a tad too big to bring out on casual weekend dates/running errands. i want something that can be comfortably worn as a crossbody which the medium size doesnt really allow for - and the one in silver hardware doesn't come with the adjustable straps. i'm quite short (161cm) and i'm not sure if the small would be too similar in size to the medium. or should i look at purchasing the le city first? i've been debating the size for months and i still cant come to a decision :panic:

Ladies with the new city bag, I am wondering what's your experience with the leather? I saw the version with Arena Storico lambskin & brass hardware in person today, and the leather seems really dry :( Will it eventually get softer with use? Thanks in advnce!

Hey, does anyone have any feedback on wear and tear/ ? i have seen a number of people complain about corner wear where the colour essentially just comes off to reveal white leather underneath. i really want to get a new one rather than preowned as I prefer the leather whipstich handles on the new city

I prefer a new one too. I want an ultra black one, or a new grey suede one. I don't have one of the new ones, but my Cagole bags using the same leather wear the way you described (shows white beneath once the colour comes off), and my City XL bag from 2017 during Demna's time at Balenciaga also wears that way. I expect the new Le City bags to wear this way, too.

I've had my medium bag for slightly over a year and a thread at the bottom of the bag came loose. the corners also do seem quite prone to wear and tear but it's probably cause I tend to put alot of things in my bag - sometimes even my 13 inch laptop. the loose thread bothered me quite a bit hence I've emailed balenciaga to check in on repairs - sent it a bunch of pictures as per their request but i'm still waiting to hear back on this.

I LOVE suede from my early youth to this day. I only have one old suede Bal - lighter greenish grey and is amazing ! Soft puddle, it just has silver hardware. TRR somehow missed the near new condition because suede is not photographing well ever, so I was kucky with htis one. I would die to have this darker hardware and also camel color too. I live where suede doesn’t get dirty in the winter (everything is frozen clean and crisp) so my other suede beauties are doing great including the light Bal. They are however unatainble for me because suede bag is a must to be new. I wish I had funds (or be willing to give thousands for the single bag LOL) for these ones (and also rodeo in that awesome natural hide). PS1 large camel suede used to be my dream but unless the suede bag is new or near new I dont gamble because the dirt can’t be cleaned in any way , ever !
