New colors are Cream (similar to Dune and Rose Poudre (light pink) also several Empreinte bags and slgs being released in the current Raisin color

Has anyone been able to see the speedy 20 in the raisin color?? The website shows a beautiful color burgundy Bordeaux kind of color, it seems to be very different from the past raisin Empreinte color on other bags

The classic and elegant bags are there. It's just that all these seasonals muddy the landscape. I know that Louis Vuitton can't survive on the Capucines, the Petite Malle, the Twist, the Alma and the likes... but all these non-stop seasonal pieces just cheapen the brand in my opinion.
I've been leaning towards Chanel and Hermes more because of this. I still enjoy and love LV but it's just so overwhelming. I just wish someone would apply the brakes more. There's so many releases at any one time and it doesn't feel as luxe as it used to. Everything seems discordant.

That's one of the reasons I've slowly been moving from LV to Chanel. I recently purchased the psbb reverse mono and I'm loving it, before that the last time I purchased from LV was last year in August. I've been loving Chanel lately and all the bags they're coming out with, but the price increases are pretty steep...[emoji30] Arghh!!

That's an interesting POV. In my experience, which is well-documented here on tPF, it's been non-stop LEs and seasonal pieces since the late 2000s. LEs and seasonal are just that, not so much disposable fashion but fashion of the moment. What's really interesting to me is that LV is reaching into its archives of previous LEs and seasonal pieces from the Marc Jacobs years and using them as inspiration for newer generations of LE and seasonal pieces.

The good news is that there are designs for everyone.

Sometimes, there's too much for me -- as in too many amazing things that I want. I love the designs I've been seeing since last spring and it's brought me back to LV after a 2 year hiatus.

I feel that way too. But I feel with abundance means I can be picky. I can love every design but I can also wait for the one the absolutely wows me and I will pay for.

I don't like pink? That's ok. Something not pink will show up (marine-rouge).
It's only in vernis/limited pattern? it'll come out in more in a few seasons.
This design too much/too plain? There's next season.

So they can keep opening up the options, I just can be choosy because I know next season may have the exact combination I'm looking for.
