Can someone kindly shed some light on placing SOs at FSH? Do you have to be a known customer/reside in France in order to place one (and subsequently have it sent to you)? Do you ask or must you be "invited" to place one? TIA!!

I think anyone can place an SO if you happen to be there when the list is open, but knowing an SA will help a lot.
I was in Paris for about 4 days prior to Christmas 2010. Went to Hermes FSH 2 or 3 times a day... they had a B 30 in Gris (passed on it, not my bag), Kelly (couldn't really see exactly, but I'm guessing it was a 32) in white (again not my bag) and some Kelly pochettes the first day I was there. And I could tell there were no new deliveries because the handbag department was quiet and practically deserted all 4 days! At George V, a very nice SA told me the best time to get a B or K in her opinion was in late Jan - early Feb, after the festive season was over. Hope this helps.
Oh, that doesn't sound too good to me!!! Is it only not good inventory on b or k, or everything else as well? Like other leather bags, do they still running low when u visit? Was there any luck to place an order?

oh boy this is so not trueee, i went end of jan n early of feb...everywhere i went in france they are saying their stock is wiped clean thx to christmas and all the saS i have met said that before xmas is the best invetories.
lol. Who knows exactly when H has the most stock. I guess even if they did have good stock late jan - early feb, it is now common knowledge hence more pple will go and then we're back at zero again!
IMHO, you should go when it suits you and if you are lucky, you will get one on the spot or get an SO/PO? Just a thought.

Hello...Costa how are u? im dino lived in netherlands... i was went to belgium dusseldof and amsterdam and maastricth but they have no birkin and kelly.... i have a plan go to paris this tuesday, do u know they have a birkin and kelly everyday there? because i heard very hard to get birkin and kelly in euro,,, thanks before....
I'm sorry I don't have an answer. They used to have birkins inn everyday, but now with the new stores .... In my opinion it used to be easier to get Birkins in the past. It seems now it's more difficult even in Paris and even if you go many times a day and in all the three shops...

i just back from paris and i got nothing there..... they ask me to come back again but 2 times already i came back bvut still nothing... so better go back to netherlands i got lindy in netherlands..... and luxumburg i got 2 cabags and 2 garden party... the service so nice..... love it.....and not arrogants

U could try of the reputed resellers in paris and also online, both options will be able to lookout for brand new as well as preloved birkins. It really depends a lot on yr luck. Walk in several times In the H store during yr trip and hopefully yr chances will be better. Persistence pays. Good luck.
