OK, well, I hope I haven't bored you to tears about bracelets and have given some good info about a bracelet you've been thinking about.
I did re-home two recently.
- a extra wide red clic clac
- a fetiche leather bracelet
I love the red clic clac. It was the most beautiful color and I didn't want to part with it but I realized that I preferred a GM instead of a PM for it. On hot days, it would stick to my wrist and I would find it uncomfortable. I still might go back to trying an extra wide in the future if I see a color that sings to me.
The other was a fetiche bracelet. I liked this bracelet and there was certainly nothing wrong with it. In fact, mine was in iris and I could flip the chain d'ancre links around and make it bicolor which I thought was cool. But it was a bit large on my and was always spinning so I let that one go to.
So you see it's really important to get your right size so the bracelet is comfortable on your wrist and also to minimize spinning.
So let's now talk about the bracelets I've tried on that don't work for me.
I believe I've already mentioned the CDC. I know I'm not alone on this bracelet.
The other that makes me sad is the Kelly double tour. I'm in between sizes (the S and M). So on me, the medium spins and the hardware ends up on the bottom of my wrist and the S is too tight. So for this reason alone, I have not purchased any. I have a friend that loves these because the S is the perfect size for her. And she wears it stacked with a chain d'ancre bracelet and it looks absolutely fabulous.
Another bracelet that I have passed on collecting is the kelly dog. There is only 1 size! There reason for this is because there are 3 slots you can use to adjust the bracelet. But on me, I don't like it unless it's on the middle slot so the bracelet looks balanced. I would have to wear it on the last slot and it just irks my eye so I don't buy this one either.
The Rivale - I'm not a fan of the way it buckles so I have also decided to pass on this style. But I do like how it looks.
The printed enamels - oh how I wish I could wear these. I have a big hand and a small wrist compared to my hand so it's hard for me to squeeze them on and then once I have them on, they are swimming on my wrist. So I have saved a fortune by not collecting these! And since I do type alot on the computer, I tend to find that oval bracelets or leather bracelets that conform to the oval shape of my wrist are best.
I have, however, started to eye more of the silver bracelets. I have tried on the chaine d'ancre enchain cuff bracelet and it is incredibly comfortable and pretty. Another favorite of mine is the CDC bracelet PM with both silver and rose gold hardware. It's a narrow bracelet that seems to pack alot of punch. I'm just afraid they will scratch easily and look a bit worn after a few uses. For those that have some silver bracelets, how have you found it wears?
OK, I think that's all for me! Please let me know if you want to see any color or bracelet combos stacked or if you have questions about any of my bracelets.
