Oh dear, that's what I get for posting late at night when I should be fast asleep [emoji20] so sorry!

I love reading your thread!![emoji173]️

Oh gosh! No need to be sorry style eyes. It's only because I'm obsessed with bracelets that I know these baby pavane colors are from past seasons. And when I ask every SA I bump into and ask about the baby pavane, I just get a sad shake of the head and am told no new colors will be made in this style.

MYH and eternallove4bag, I had to wipe the slobber off my phone after seeing your beautiful collections! Thanks for sharing.
Joannadyne - you are well on your way! You are already twins with EL4B with your beautiful lilac clic H.

Stunning!!!!

Thank you dear scarf1[emoji8][emoji8]

All of these bracelets are so beautiful. It is so wonderful to have you back Eternal! Also thank you to MYH for such a wonderful entertaining thread. I enjoy reading it so much!

My beautiful friend glad to be back[emoji8][emoji8] Thank you so much! We need to catch up soon!

I love your collections MYH and eternallove4bag!!! I really really wanted a KD but it would only fit me in the 1st hole. The KD extreme fits me but in the last hole. But like MYH said, i think that KD's look great if you put it in the middle hole thats why I wasnt able to get it for myself. But I do enjoy looking at it on other people [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]

Thank you so much tabbi! I agree I also like the KDs in the middle hole and even though it swings a bit I still prefer it to spoiling the aesthetic of the design ❤️❤️

Thank you dear! Happy you enjoyed the post on bracelets.

StyleEyes - thanks for the alert on baby pavane bracelets. I guess I should have been more specific - they are no longer making them in new colors. The two greens on the H.com site have been there for awhile and are the residuals from the last season they were made. I've thought about the bamboo one but don't really have a need for the bright green.

Thank you for stopping by RitaB. A hot chocolate at Le Bon Marche sounds so cozy!

EL4B - thank you so much for sharing your bracelets! :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo: It looks like you are like me...you buy multiple colors of the designs you like. That is a gorgeous KD collection dear. I always love your action shot posts because your arm candy is always on point! And your clic H collection is not too shabby either! I'm jelly of all your colors. Amazing...amazing...Thanks for sharing with everyone and telling us how you stack yours too.

Go for it! I really love the clic clacs with enamel H.

Thank you for letting me share and for your kind words dear MYH [emoji8][emoji8]... Your style and collection certainly inspires me! I think the bracelets add an instant oomph to any outfit!❤️❤️

MYH and eternallove4bag, I had to wipe the slobber off my phone after seeing your beautiful collections! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much Joannadyne ❤️❤️... I really love completing my look everyday by wearing one of the bracelets and I am not even a jewelry person [emoji51] but these bracelets have me hooked!!

I'm sorry to pull us out of bracelet bonanza mode but I thought I would finish up my CSGMs before summer is truly upon us here in LA. I can only crank up the AC so much in the house while I try to take photos. :lolots:

So where were we....I think we covered Graff and Echec au Roi. Up next is a favorite of mine. L'instruction du Roy. I'm not sure of the exact cw but it has a purplish gray background, with oatmeal, brown, and yellow highlights.

I remember when this CSGM first came out. The big hit was the one that was completely neutral with black and gray. I could not open tPF without another tPFer gorgeously modeling this cw and singing it's praises. Let me tell you.. It was hard not to join the party! But in my heart of hearts, I knew it wasn't right for me. I love a neutral shawl. Don't get me wrong. But the ones that really sing to me are neutral with a pop of color. I like this slight twist in color palette and I think it's one Hermes does so well. So I sat on my hands (and wallet) and waited....and waited....hoping I would see a cw that would make my heart skip a beat. And finally, towards the middle of the season, this cw started hitting the boutiques. My SA brought it out immediately and I fell in love. At first I was uncertain about the yellow in it, but came to realize it's not yellow I'm afraid of. It's gold. They are actually completely different colors. And now I love the yellow in it and even try to highlight it with accessories. The beauty of this shawl though is that I can fold the yellow away if I need to. See the last pic where it is almost completely gone.

And then to top it off....Maitai debuted hers in the exact cw I bought on her blog and I was secretly a bit thrilled inside because I think she is tres elegant and has impeccable taste.

And I love that this shawl matches almost all of my bags. My gold kelly, Gris T kelly, Gris T evelyne, Raisin B, and black kelly cut. Sometimes it really does help to collect neutral bags because they match almost everything.

On Day 2, I decided to try and accomplish the other big purchase on my list. I've been wanting a VCA pendant for awhile now but have been unsure which stone to get. I already have a small collection of VCA jewelry and I didn't really want to duplicate stones I already had. I really wanted to splash out with a fun color. Recently VCA has offered a long magic alhambra pendant in many colors but for some reason, none of them spoke to me. I almost pulled the trigger on malachite to match my malachite kelly but I have heard the stone needs some tender loving care and I am kind of hard on my jewelry. So for years, I have waffled about which pendant to get. And I kind of had a goldilocks syndrome with the pendants. I felt the vintage was too small but the magic too big. I know...first world problems. But this is tPF and we all understand these types of problems right?

So about two weeks before the trip, I had a friend on TPF tell me that the blue porcelain line was available now and that it was exclusive to Paris. Say what? Blue porcelain? I have heard of lapis but not porcelain and I have always adored the lapis stone. And blue? omg. I love blue. I wouldn't even need to buy new accessories or scarves to match it! I already have a blue clic clac and many scarves with a deep blue color in it. Perhaps I was only missing a blue electric bag? But hey, we can't have everything! It then clicked in my mind that this was the pendant I was looking for. But then I was concerned. What about the size? Was it a vintage size or the big magic size? I looked on the VCA threads and could tell from some photos that it was actually an in-betweeen size. Not too small and not too big. I couldn't believe my luck. So without getting my hopes up too much, I decided to go and check it out at VCA in Place Vendome.

It was a beautiful sunny day and PbP and I set out for VCA. We walked in the boutique and it was empty. Which was actually really lucky for us because we had many SAs hanging around watching us try things on and bringing us champagne! And they were very generous with the bubbly because they kept asking us if we wanted another glass. Knowing I had to keep my wits about me, I stopped at 2. :lolots: I've fallen for that trick before!

Our SA was a beautiful young french woman straight out of a magazine. And she was very kind and patient and let us try on lots and lots of things. Of course I asked for the blue porcelain pendant first because I needed to know if it was "the one" I had been waiting for. She brought it out and it was perfect. Not too small, not too big and a beautiful deep blue color. I did feel the chain was a bit short on me so I had her lengthen it by a bit. Luckily, the main workshop is in Paris and it would be ready in just a couple of days giving me time to pick it up before I headed back home.

So here are a few photos of our time in VCA and the pendant I ended up purchasing along with the scarves and my clic clac it coordinates with.

The yellow in the HS is just the right touch to make the whole outfit pop.

MYH, I just love your thread. This Instruction shawl is perfect for you! (Did you say Gold Kelly? Why am I not remembering this?)

I love the design, especially the intertwining bits you have shown so nicely in the first pic. Mine is 90 jacquard silk, in a CW I was hunting for at least a year.

And your bracelets - holy cow! Thank you for the eye candy!!

Mmmmm. This is just beautiful and suits you perfectly. I love it with Raisin! I love how you've tied it too. I definitely need more practice tying CSGMs, especially those lovely intertwining knots. They're gorgeous, but I'm clueless!

Hello everyone! I'm back today with another scarf installment. I was going to keep going through my CSGMs but am going to get sidetracked because I'm so in love with a 90cm I picked up at the BH sale.

I can't believe this scarf wasn't even on my radar until PbP sent me a photo. How did I let this beauty slip by me when it was in the boutiques? I think I might have been on my 90cm scarf ban at the time and perhaps never looked in the scarf case when it was in stores. But I am so glad she told me to look for it at the sale and I found it! I was quickly and carefully scanning the scarf section with my eyes (felt like I was on some shopping game show) and when I locked eyes on my target I felt like I had won a contest. Keep in mind, everyone else is doing the same at the same time and there is a lot of pressure to find the "gems" first LOL!

As I've said before, I'm not typically a horse scarf person. But if the design is done in a modern/abstract way, then I'm all in. And this one fits the bill perfectly.

If you're a tan and blue lover, this cw has every single beautiful shade in those color families. And even though the design looks symmetrical, every corner has slightly different colors in it. So there are four different cowboy knots that let you highlight various colors in the scarf. If anyone is really desiring this design, there are some pochettes currently on the US H.com site.

This is my first sale scarf and the stamp they put on it this year isn't bad at all. I have seen large black S stamps directly on the back of the scarf on various eBay listings. Sometimes that black stamp even bleeds into the front of the scarf/shawl making that corner practically useless. This year, the S stamp is a light yellowish looking S and they were careful to place it right on the care tag. So if you take the care tag off, you wouldn't even know it's a sale scarf. Thanks Hermes! That's really considerate of you.

So I took some photos of it with some accessories and my gold kelly and legende sandals. Momasaurus - this photo is for you! I guess you didn't know I have a gold kelly because I've been neglecting her recently. Miss goldie is the first K I ever bought. She kind of took a back seat ever since Miss Gris T showed up but I am going to try to use her more. I promise!
I also found that beautiful blue indien clic H at the sale that is pictured next to my colvert illusion bracelet. It's my first narrow clic clac ever! Up until now, I've only bought the extra wide or medium width ones. I am looking forward to wearing it a lot this summer. And thank you to my H friend that swooped it up but then let me buy it when we got to the cash register. I owe you a drink for that honey!

Hope you guys love this scarf as much as I do. Have a great week everyone.

It is all so beautiful! And love your VCA pendant too!
To me, this is a design that looks way better when worn than when seen flat. I admit I just passed it by as well!

You always coordinate so well dear MyH!!
This is one of the patterns that I feel "meh" about when flat but looks very nice when tied. It always amazes me how H can make even the most "take it or leave it" designs truly elevate an outfit. I especially love your last tie with the snake showing!!

On a side note, I am jealous of those of you who got to attend the sale in BH last week. Luckily I have a VERY sweet friend who attended and picked up a little something for me [no hints on what it is until I actually receive it! haha].

Many, many years ago H would hold sales in all the boutiques and even though they were limited to what that particular store had in stock, it really allowed more people access to the deals. I do hope they go back to that model, much like Bottega and Gucci do. However, I do plan to take a day off and go to the NY sale in the fall of this year but I hear that is truly a madhouse compared to the one in BH.

I'm so glad you picked this one up. It looks so stunning on you and even more so with the way that you accessorize and tie your scarves. Major congrats!!! These are such good colors on you!

And you are welcome- you don't owe me anything- I just appreciate all of your scarf coaching and camaraderie lovely! [emoji8]

I think I owe YOU for helping me to edit so well!!!!

I love Della Cavalleria and tried many times to buy the red/blue 90. Every SA and every friend I went with sniffed and said no. I love the design, particularly in that CW, but apparently it doesn't love me! I believed everyone. Maybe when I am very very very old I will buy it and wear it around the nursing home.

Yours is gorgeous and thanks for the gold kelly show. May I say that you neglect her just a little???:laugh::laugh: At least around here.

Thank you MyH for getting me a backup of this scarf. This was my first 90 silk and my second scarf. Back then my selection process was very organic. I didn't know there were seasons or what was popular. I hadn't found tpf. My SA helped me to pick it out to match my hair and eyes and I loved it so much that I wore it a lot. It gained even more sentimental value when I was lucky enough to visit the H museum in Paris. The other couple on the tour was late so I had almost two hours one on one with the curator and we really bonded. I'm a history geek and I was quickly becoming a scarf geek. Those who have been there know that you can't possibly see everything and there is no set tour. The curator will simply show you what they think you will find interesting. One of the very last things that she showed us was a book from the 17th century about tying knots. As she flipped it open I saw the Della cavalleria drawing. She couldn't tell because I was wearing my scarf very tight at my neck like a turtleneck but I took it off and opened it up and it was the della cavalleria of course. She and I both teared up with joy. She allowed an exception for me to take photos of the book but I'm not allowed to share them or post them publicly. Needless to say this will always be my sentimental favorite. Lately I find myself wearing it less because I don't want anything to happen to it. So now thanks to MyH I have a backup that's fresh and crisp. I put it in a box and tucked it away in a safe place in case of scarf emergency. Oh and stupid me, I don't know what happened to my colorway tag from the first scarf. So now I have one. Thank you MyH!!!!
