MYH!
First of all, this needs to be published. Your collection just as an exhibition of artworks is enough for an amazing catalog. But add to that, the way you bring each scarf to life from the expanse on the bed or floor to the variety of ways you fold and knot them into wearable pieces is startling to someone who has little knowledge of Hermes scarves. It is really masterful how you bring out the most interesting aspects of these scarves when worn. Then, the generous tutorials on how to tie the scarfs to their best advantage, the care and maintenance offerings, and finally the witty and compelling stories that accompany each addition. I really do think there is a book here. It has so much not just for Hermes lovers and this forum, but the general public would love a book like this.
You have brought these scarves to life for me.

I'm back! And I realized, I misspoke when I said I came home with just one scarf. I think I must have the worst memory. I actually came home with 2 scarves. A 140cm giant silk and a 90cm silk. I'll show both today flat with my bags and show some knots tomorrow. I just didn't have enough time today before the sun went down to take photos. I think you have already heard my story about the 140cm. A quick recap - I was wearing a blue sweater and black pants and thought a malachite kelly wouldn't be very useful because I don't have much green in my wardrobe. My quick thinking SA went over to the giant silk drawer an pulled out this A La Plume which has blue, green, and black in it. Well, it tied my whole outfit together (pun intended!) and I was sold on the malachite kelly. In my photo, it looks humongous with my malachite kelly 28 and colvert pico mm. LOL. Also, sorry for all the wrinkles! It's hard to get a 140cm to lay smoothly on the floor! But as I've discussed before, it's my favorite size and I don't mind taming the beast! A drapey scarf necklace always does the trick.

So after the 140cm A La Plume scarf, I was satisfied for like 30min. before I realized I would also need a 90cm. I mentally went through my scarf drawer and knew I didn't really have any emerald green scarves to match my new kelly. I had a 70cm (Rose de Compass) but not a 90cm. So the next day we went back to Bellagio and I looked through all the 90cms but could not find one. I was thinking in the back of my head that I would get a Sieste au Paradis because one of them was bound to have a ton of green in it from the trees. And I had been eyeing this scarf design for the longest time this season. I even tried on the new 140cm CSGMs that were in store the day before but felt the size and design detail was too overwhelming on me. I love it on others but not on me, so I knew I would pass on the CSGM for SS2016. Which practically gives me permission to get the 90cm because I "need" at least one scarf in this design. So I went back to my SA at Bellagio and looked for one but none of the designs seem to match my Kelly well enough. So patient DH and my sis (she met us there) rode the tram with me to Crystals to look for a 90cm there. They had more cws than Bellagio and when this one unfurled, my sis and I both gasped. It was the one! I think I'm twins with ABQ2ATL and a few others. When the scarf is folded on the diagonal, alot of the green trees show so it's a pretty good match with Malachite K. And I don't have anything in this color palette represented in my current scarf collex so I felt it had to be mine. It really is breathtaking scarf.

I'll be back tomorrow with some knots!

I did saw someone post the blue indigo/orange poppy in GHW in size 18 last year on the EU H.com
So far I have yet to see this combo in size 22 anywhere! Ugh!
Ugh is right! I'm crossing my fingers for you that you eventually find a MM in this color combo. And if you find a second one, can you please PM me? :D

Great scarf and of course your Kelly and Pico!! Colvert is one of the best blues from H! And lucky you, an MM!! A mutual friend of ours has a GM Pico in Chartreuse that I LOVE but I never see it in the stores. I ONLY ever see the PMs in store and on h.com.
I see GMs in store too sometimes! But it's too big for me sadly. A chartreuse one sounds beautiful!

Oh gosh maxxout - I'm :blushing::blushing::blushing: over here. I never thought my shopping experiences were of any interest to anyone. LOL! And I do love how everyone shares on this forum their knowledge and expertise. Whether or not it's leathers, silks, vintage designs, etc. I am happy to share what I have figured out with scarves and my accessories. Well if there are any publishers out there that want to publish my musings in a book, let me know! :wlae:

Myh, congratulations on your beautiful new treasures and especially those malachite and Colbert bags. I ran into a malachite Kelly last year but it was a size 32. In hindsight I should have bought it to trade with you! And if you don't mind, could you model the mm picotine for us. I'm curious to see how that compares to a pm.

Can't wait for your modeling shots of the Sieste. I have the turquoise aubergine one and am considering a second cw. Yours is one of my top three choices along with the red/ blue and pink/orange. Well honestly I already have the white and green one too but that is to frame and hang in my guest bedroom so that doesn't count right?!

Also, love your Jaime mom carre and coup fouet. I was never a fan of either but all the CF pics are quite enabling especially in this cw!

This Sieste is amazing with green. When I tried it on (several different times) it always read as BLUE to me. (Blue scarves are a no-brainer for me, so I purposely resisted it - my new tactic is to go for the unusual.) You have shed a new light on this CW for me! (A gorgeous K would also be most pleasing. :lolots::lolots:)

MYH Seeing a new profile and story on your thread makes my day!
I'm most intrigued by the Plume 140cm , you chose a beautiful colour way and perfect for the bags of course. It's one I've studied in both sizes so I'll be really interested to see how you rock it .
Sieste is one I decided to pass on , it is truly beautiful and the blue green you chose particularly . I was in H the other day and saw the SA wearing the acid yellow so well , then I wondered if I had made a mistake passing on it !

Absolutely gorgeous MYH! Especially that Sieste, what a fabulous design this is. I can't believe I dismissed it as easily as I did at the beginning of the season. It's perfect with your two new bags as is the lovely Plumes. I never realized before that the feathers spell out "Hermes Paris!" Duhhhh!
