Thank you antiqueshopper, bextasy, digby and jen! I am a little irked by the flipping (it doesn't flip all the way around, it will sit upright against my neck so it's parallel to the ground. ) Weird but I guess if all of you lovely dbty owners experience the same thing then I don't feel too worried :)

Thank you everyone for all your sweet compliments, I am totally in  with the pendant, diamond and design.

Bagaday - I love Vegas because you can literally shop until midnight everyday! most luxury stores will close at 6 some even at 9 but not many I know will open past 11!

Whoops - lv wallets are at most 1k which means you can get a slightly smaller diamond for 2k! I saw a .26 g color for around 1600 and a .31 I color for 1820...:) it was a great size and you couldn't tell it was an I because of the yg setting. No, we didn't get my band yet. DF is getting a new rewards card and he wants to put the ring on the card. We didn't put this on the new card becAuse I actually paid for it! I felt bad about him paying for my ering, band and future wedding haha. But we are def going to get it before the price increase!

Haha I think if I get a DBTY I'd get it with multiple diamonds and longer haha. So my fund for that is still a lot of money for me to be willing to spend for more jewelry... I'm tryin to quit jewelry temporarily.... And I need to save for the wedding! Haha my mom is making me add more guests again too.

As for the rash, Do you sweat a lot there? Or normally wear necklaces at that length? Could be the diamond culet? Do u feel it at all?

Lol in that case 1k hasn't set you back much! Ooo I have tried on the longer multiple but it just doesn' look good on me. I think the chain looks too delicate to be worn that way on me. I think I'd get vca for longer necklaces because the chain is thicker and the motifs are a nice size. I don't sweat there but I kind of feel a tickling sensation on my neck but I am not sure of it's the culet or just my rash...

I prolly won't go tiffanys when I decide to buy it. Maybe blue Nile? Dunno! But my wishlist is getting long now so who knows when! Haha

Could be the culet creating the rash? Do u have sensitive skin?

I had a white gold Tiffany elsa peretti necklace back in the day (dunno where I put it!) and I remember it would scratch me a little then I got used to it and it was fine! Even slept with it!

Khol maybe it's where it hangs on your neck that's bothering you... they make them all 16 inches but if you think about it all of our collarbones land in different places (if you're 6 foot or 5 foot there's going to be a big difference!) and maybe it's just hitting you in just the wrong place for both flipping and rash?

I would try lengthening it for a day with a piece of thread in the back by half an inch or an inch and see how it lies for you then?

We know you're not allergic to diamonds! ;)

I've never found mine irritating and the cutlet does stick out/is sharp if you run your hand on it...

Whoops - I think the bluenile version is def beautiful. Skphoto's looks so large and sparkly! It's just the workmanship of the setting that really bothered me...and bgd's diamonds being smaller kinda geared me towards Tiffany (and everyone here knows I love Tiffany items but not particularly the cs) . And yes, unfortunately I do have sensitive skin...:(

Jen - I can't wait for modeling shots of your dbty! My skin is quite sensitive and I can feel it poking me and irritating my skin. I guess i'll have to take it into Tiffany to see if they can put something on the back or exchange for a smaller size (nooooo) but it is bothering me quite a bit...

I got a .35 HVS2 yellow gold DBTY pendant from Tiffany about 2-3 weeks ago. I didn't see the need to go higher in terms of color or clarity as I could see no difference and the price point really jumped.

I have super sensitive skin, too, but no problem with the cutlet irritating my skin- at least yet. It does not flip, but I do sometimes have trouble centering it on my neck, if that makes sense (it tends to go either too far to the left or too far to the right). It takes a bit of adjusting.

Enjoy your new necklace!

Thank you lily and skyqueen!!!

nld - Thank you for your input. I realized right when I put it on in the morning, it starts to sting my skin and it begins to turn red. But as the day progresses, the irritation and stinging sensation subsides, so I'm thinking my skin is just getting used to it!!! Do you have pics of your .35 H? It sounds beautiful!! The boutique I went to only had I and G colors within the size range I was looking at and didn't have any H =( I would have considered H if they had any! I could still tell the color between I and G so I went with G! And yes, the price difference is huggee between colors!
