Stuart Weizman Midland boots in black suede... $798 retail. I only wear them a few times each Fall/Winter, lol! Don't want to spill anything on them or scuff them.

Quality.

The good thing with both of these is they both could last years, just a re-heel and/or resole here and there and they could walk you into the next decade

im so sorry to hear that! They’re my go-to for fancy things - and they’re the last pair of shoes I wore before starting to quarantine, as I wore them to my brother-in-law’s wedding. I’d love to wear them more frequently, but they are such showstoppers that I’m not sure how to dress them down!

I bought a pair of limited edition Dior j'adior slingbacks for my wedding, and they were C$1800-1900 after tax. They were super comfortable when I tried them on in store, but I feel like I probably could have sized up half a size. Oh well.
