frosty it's 2:12 AM for me right now and i can't even imagine waking up at 6am at this point! although i may need to tomorrow morning since i'm so behind on so many things :faint:

Went swimming yesterday and my eyeliner only budged at the very corners. No breakouts or complaints. My BFF asked if she could try my tube. I said, "Of Course" because she's always in search of the perfect primer.

this sounds amazing ... I've tried looking for something comparable here in Germany and the only thing that I could find was "Hansaplast Blasen-Schutz-Gel" (Blister Protection Gel) http://www.dooyoo.de/verbandstoffe/hansaplast-blasen-schutz-gel-10-ml/1199055/

Anybody think this would work?

The only ingredients apparantly are Dimethicone and Dimethicone Crosspolymer, but it's around 3-4€ for 10ml/0.3oz so it's not really a bargain.

^yeah, ita ..... I haven't seen this around at work yet, but we DO have blister balms, etc .... lol, maybe I can convince my boss to order them so I can get a sample :p

I haven't seen anything else comparable yet?! :shrugs: Maybe I'll inquire at the pharmacy whether they have any idea what I could use :confused1:

I'll let you know whether I find anything

Is this only for people who have oily skin??? Can it be worn by itself without foundation? What exactly does a primer do? I feel left out. I wanna jump on the bandwagon so bad, but I just don't know if this is necessarily for me...

It's not something that you would need to wear by itself- it is clear and doesn't do anything appearance wise by itself. It basically fills the pores and creates a smooth layer of skin so that the foundation glides on and appears airbrushed. This part it does whether you are oily or dry skinned. But additionally it stops the oil from cutting through to the foundation and so the foundation stays put longer.

OK, got ya..thanks for clearing it up for me. I only wear tinted moisturizer every once in a while, so I guess I'll try it next time I wear it. I'm just intrigued because everyone' saying how silky soft it makes your skin feel. And for the price, you can't go wrong...thanks again.

Actually my mom wears it by itself. She's in the midst of menopause, with lots of hot flashes. Monistat helps keep her face more matte even without makeup over it. I've also put it on by itself on weekend mornings when I'm doing housework. Makes my skin feel softer and more "polished" than when it's bare.

Just be sure to wash it off before bed or you'll end up with clogged pores!
