I think it is leather peeling. If it bothers you then you should probably return it? The waiting time might be long for the replacement though

Can you guys tell me something about the wear and tear of the mini in lambskin? I just own a woc in caviar and want to buy a mini.
Chanel lambskin feels super sturdy like calfskin these days and i have few and they all look new even with frequent use
I purchased a Mini flap in beige with LGH from the 22C collection in November. I haven’t used it yet. Can those with beige lambskin mini flaps tell me how they hold up over time. Does the beige age well. I love the look of vintage beige lambskin bags. I’m just so scared to use it. I know it’s not white or light pink, but still are there any colours I should definitely NOT wear it with?
For those dying for the Caramel mini, same color as 21P, it's available for 22S. My SA at Nordstrom just told me they're taking reserves for 22S and these are the 4 minis they have. Sadly the Caramel mini reserve list got booked within minutes.

I can ask her when she returns from vacation. I don't think there's any in 22P but I'll ask for 22S.
