Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has had luck getting a black rectangular mini through CS? I've contacted them 3-4 times now and every time they tell me some stores have it in stock and someone will message me within 1-2 days to help with purchase, but then no one ever contacts me. I've also messaged several SA's and called 3 boutiques directly. One store was nice enough to tell me that they get them quite often and would put me on the reserve list, but everyone else is out of stock. How long did you hunt before getting one?

I rang CS and they told me which store have stock, then I texted my SA at that store, told SA if the bag not on hold for any one, then I like to buy. Within 1 hr, SA texted me back and said I can buy it. That is how I got my bag. Right place, right time, I guess they make other on reserve list wait a bit longer. Good luck !!!
That's very lucky! I'm relatively new to Chanel so I don't really have an SA. I just have some contacts that my friend gave me. Hopefully something will pop up for me soon
Or if CS said there is stock, then ask them to call the store to see if You can buy, as they normally will do this for you. Mini bag for this season is start arriving at store, so chance is good now. Good luck !!!
I was on reserve list before and they never contact me.
Tried it this morning, but the number for the store just goes to another CS line who told me that I need to contact an SA there if I want to secure it, since there isn't a way to directly call the boutique. Otherwise I just want to wait to see if the store will reply to inquiry. I don't know any SAs there so I guess I have to wait. May just try again tomorrow I guess lol.
Are you in the US? Usually there is a waitlist for the black rectangular mini in many boutiques. The wait time can range from a month to a year or more. Really depends on how many people are on the waitlist and how many the boutiques ordered. If you don’t mind waiting, it’s best to contact several boutiques and ask to be on the waitlist. Otherwise, contacting CS might help but because it’s quite a high demand for the bag, it’s really hard to have one floating around. I waited for 3-4 months before I got mine so I think that’s not too bad already.

I think the size is about the same, but the chain length seems shorter . From left to right 21K dark pink top handle, 21K crumbled calfskin mini rectangular and 20C square mini.

I guess in my mind, I thought the rectangular mini had a thicker depth, closer to the square mini, but I probably just forgot how small it is. I totally re-bought the mini based solely on the beautiful pink colour, wasn’t thinking of what I can put in it lol! I have the raspberry pink colour just like yours but no handle.
Just received my black 22c rectangular mini and the the quilts are flatter and leather is less shiny this season (at least on the one I received). I had purchased one earlier this year (21s) but sent that one back because the flap was crooked.

Bottom is 22c that just arrived.
Which one do you all prefer? Should I have kept 21s for more luxurious, shiny puffs?

It’s first come, first served at our boutiques, no wait lists, reservations etc per sales associates I talked to. You have to line up on launch day.
Managed to score a rectangular mini from C22. Purchased from Harrods in London. I called all the stores in London who said they had no availability of leather rectangular minis. Only Harrods had 1 leather in stock.
