I keep in dust bag but constantly leave it out so bag can breathe .. reason being my room gets dusty and dust sticks on to the stitching of bags ..

Got a long-awaited text that I was luckily drawn for my first mini! While I still wait for a seasonal caviar to come out in a mini-ish form, I’m so happy to be finally joining the club. Maybe it’s just me, but it did seem smaller irl than expected lol. Also, much more difficult to obtain. Recently got into Chanel, so not sure if it’s objectively more difficult now with limited supply or recent limits or if it’s always been this way, but makes me appreciate her that much more.

This season seems that Chanel minis are less puffier and not as shiny as from prev seasons. I was worried that my iridescent mini looks kinda flat, but now I see all minis this season this way.
I’ve seen 22C minis both puffy and flat, and it seems less so season specific and more where it’s made. A highly opined topic that others can share their anecdotes to enlighten. But from my own limited experience, a friend’s square mini from this season was made in Italy and quite puffy compared to my rectangular mini made in France which has some “character”, for lack of a better word. Those tags indicating season can so easily be taken off and on, which makes me wonder whether REV bags are specifically produced for each season or carried over from previous ones and tags changed out. The blood, sweat, and tears to obtain makes me think the former but who knows. Such a roller coaster ride, which I despise but also get excited about, the thrill of the chase I suppose rather than the actual bag. Which is why purse peace does not exist (said in the same way the epiphany was said in Mean Girls, “the limit does not exist”)!

I was SO not expecting to be offered this bag from the boutique but my SA texted me today out of the blue and said my mini rectangle with LGHW was waiting for me! I honestly thought when I put my name down a couple months ago it wouldn’t go anywhere as I don’t have a huge purchase history or anything, but my SA is amazing! This is my first lambskin piece and first with LGHW. I hesitated for a second because I usually only go for SHW as most of my jewellery is silver/white gold, so I’m hoping I don’t regret the LGHW down the line I’m hoping it’ll just be versatile and match with all my jewellery?
