Milan store sucks

Yep- I think it's pretty standard policy at European boutiques (particularly Italy) that you have to ask for them to bring something out. IMO the system is odd though- isn't the whole idea of display pieces used so prospective customers only maul one bag and the rest remain fresh?

yeah, there are some stores with picky Sa. i normally don't touch the bags, just ask for assistance coz i never know what each store's policy is.

I usually don't, but on one occasion my sa allowed me to touch the display items. It was a black MC speedy.

I'm sorry for your bad experience.Here in Italy if you want to see closely a bag or something else, you have to ask the SA..not only at LV but nearly in all designer boutiques..

I understand you completely JPLovesPurses. I had a bad experience at Vienna's LV store too. I walked into the store and went directly to a counter. There was one sale assistant and customersOne women is trying her bag so I saw that SA didn't talk to anyone at that time so I asked her to if I could see a bag. She said rudely "I'm taking care of this customer" and then looked away from me. No smile, nothing. I really don't undestand it at all. I hope this is not their policy either.
