Michael Kors "logo" bags? Yay or Nay?

No to logo bags. Give me a nice leather bag anytime over these canvas or whatever logo bags.

I loved my MK logo bag at first, but not so much anymore. I do like the LV monogram still but feel self conscious wearing it, as if Im showing off my bag or something. Thats why I like Burberry bec its subtle yet you still know what brand it is.

So, I have mixed feelings on logo bags.. I really love my LV and Gucci but I'm actually debating selling all my MK logo bags (I have a few). I don't have a NEED to sell really, but my closet is cluttered and I just don't use them that much. I am worried I'll regret it, but when I sold my Coach logo bags a bit ago it was strangely liberating. I'm not 100% convinced I should sell all my MK logo bags, but I'm leaning that way. I really like the MK leather bags.. maybe I can sell some logos to fund that purchase? Any thoughts?

I hate logo bags. I love how roots is so subtle with it. One logo and that's all they need.

I hate the MK logo bags. I like a lot of their leather bags, but IMO the name is too prominent on all the newer bags. This alone has kept me from buying them. My MK bags from a few years ago had a removable MK charm and that was all. I wish they would go back to that.

Funny, whatev, my partner has a Michael Kors and took off that big MK charm. She said it looked "tacky."

I don't like logo bags that are too in your face. The big MK all over look tacky to me too. I think leather or coated canvas is better that the fabric logo bags, I sold all my siggie coaches, kept the leather ones. I still like the monogram LV, but have bought a few epi leather there too. I have 7 MK bags, and they are all leather. Would you consider a red, bone or orange bag? The red and orange always gives a pop of color and go with so much more than you would think.

I guess it depends on the size of the logo. The smaller the better, however, you can truly appreciate the beauty of a bag without a logo!

I have only one logo bag....a Coach....and it sits in the recesses of my closet. I tried once, therefore, and I just have to say no to logo bags. I think I just don't like advertising these designers for free.

I agree! If it has their logo on a bag they should give us a discount on the bag since it is basically free advertising.
I dislike logos, the only logoed item I have is a coach coin purse that people don't normally see

I know that this is a very old post but I can't help but reply. I am glad the most if not all of you are against MK LOGO BAGS, because now when I carry mine I won't run into anyone of you carrying one. I love to be opposite the crowd. Very glad I read your post.
