Michael Kors "logo" bags? Yay or Nay?

Realize these are older posts but I just bought a MK logo and was looking for info on PVC which found out it's plastic with leather straps. The color is what got me it goes with black or brown. but $280 for plastic is this normal for "designer" bags? Guess we are paying for name then? New to this forum so any help is appreciated.
Yes u pay for that name big time. MK is popular...I see a lot of women carrying them. Like Coach, everyone seems to have at least one. MK does make some nice leather bags tho for not much more than the plastic logo bags. Some women want the logo bags because its a status type thing...everyone knows u have an LV or MK or Coach bag when u carry the logo/mono bags! I myself like the leather bags...but if its initials made into the leather like LV Empreinte bags, then I do like those! I'm just not a fan of the plastic type bags cuz u pay too much for what they r. Try ur local TJMaxx...they have pretty good discounts on MK bags.

just really like the style of the cynthia bag but don't like paying leather price for pvc. glad i found this website great info!
^ This. It's very rare that I like any logo'd bag unless it is extremely subtle. I think they look good sometimes, on other people, but wouldn't get one myself. And the MK monogram looks like it's trying to be LV, so that doesn't sit well with me either. This is coming from someone who had a MK monogram wallet, tote, and satchel at one point so - maybe I've just grown out of it.
I think they look nice but I don't care for the mk initials for some reason but then again I hate the khaki coach cs it just screams look I'm carrying coach/Michael kors aka tacky. Most purse newbies are into logo but when a woman is carrying a super luxe leather/exotic bag that's how you know she's really matured in her fashion/ purse journey 
lol also I hate the lining in mk bags it feels so cheap! Mk bags are def not quality in my eyes I think they look nice but the materials don't feel like good quality and that's my prob with mk bags so I don't own any.
