I can only admit this here: When I brought my copy of this magazine home, I slept with the magazine next to me for the next few days. I wanted to see the images before I went to sleep and as soon as I woke up. By far, my favorite photographs of Fassbender.

You're definitely in the right thread (where there are GPS-like sightings of the man, like Artlove wrote hehe) :) I bought the W mag where he poses like a character out of Soderbergh's Magic Mike. Almost did cat-purring gestures at it at the bookstore!

Well, this is something. After learning about the Prometheus Q & A with Ridley Scott after WonderCon (at the AMC theaters in Anaheim) I wanted to know how one could get tix to the event. So I found out that you had to be an AMC Stubs member, which sucks because I swore I'd never pay for a movie rewards program. But the manager of the theater told me that the only people who were getting invites were Stubs members in the Los Angeles area. So I figured I'd take a chance and get a membership. Though, I figured I was too late.

Lo and behold, I just got an email invite to the event! But I had to RSVP through a third party site for which I had to set up a login, etc. and that took a bit. So by the time I was able to RSVP, all of the passes had run out. It's okay, though. I'm not worried about it. I'll get in. ;)

Wow, what dedication! Fingers crossed that you'll get in after going thru those steps, and not only meet Ridley and the Fass but also the wonderful Joseph Gordon-Levitt who's also in attendance for Looper (unless you don't care about JGL, in which case, never mind!).

She looks a bit… how can I say that without coming across as rude/jealous/bitter… a bit tacky to be honest  Must be the outfit and that dumb girl pose
(If you think she’s too young for him wait 'till you hear mine:giggles:) FYI he likes 'em pretty young :graucho:
Ejm1059 yours looks better btw :amuse:

If it doesn't work out with Nicole… well he'd still have me standing awkwardly in the corner :p… I'm kidding of course ... still not that desperate
:blah: But I’m a real catch, his loss :supacool:

:shame:

Sassy Lady
Michael belting out ‘The Lion King’ hit song “In The Jungle” on ADM set (at 0:45)
He’s a jukebox on legs and definitely one of a kind…

Such a cute clown, love that he sings, his mind must be on random play;)

I heard about this new project :yahoo: I’m just hoping it won’t turn out to be another movie like ‘The Grey’ with Liam Neeson :nogood: :giggles:
If Fassbender sign on, he would play the male half of the stranded pair, a doctor and avid climber who must use his skills from both his profession and hobby to help an injured writer woman to safety.
I wonder who would/could play the female lead though, probably an actress in her mid-thirties... If so, Jessica Chastain would be perfect for that part :hbeat:
I like the sound of this project, I think I going to skim the book. Love robinson crusoe style survival tales but only when they actually come back safely, with most of their limbs attached. (As I lay dying by Faulkner, obviously not a happy read for me). So if they go through an Odyssey and also play doctors + nurses together this could be entertaining. Special episode ER, 127 hours, Titanic with iceburg, without water.

^I'm getting vibes of 127 Hours (party of 2), but with intact limbs.
Huzzah for offbeat projects! I think that FOX's Tom Rothman may have this guy's phone number on speed dial. (Though too bad FOX often comes in last at the end of the year in term of movie grosses, out of the big studios ...)
Interesting about the possible Fox connections. I think Fassbender will not do this movie (my speculation) and its a way for the studio to get some buzz for a stalled yet still viable project. Maybe just an attention device for maneuvering the script around.

Avid Climber

He's done some climbing before, right? I'm inclined to believe this report because he's WAY more physically right for a part like that than most Hollywood actors. My brother does some climbing and he's a bit of a survivalist as well. He's super light but fit--5'10" and 130-140 lbs. depending on where he is in endurance training. Almost all of the LA beefcakes would be too big to be believable in something like this.

That's probably why he became a meme. To annoy people for years to come

Hope you'll get in btw and snatch that dong if he shows up ;) Is he gonna attend the Comic Con again too next summer?
I bet he's already back in NYC, spending time with Nicole probably :graucho: before the festival and the promotional tour for 'Prometheus'.

I'm not trying to have a run-in with the :police: so no snatching of anything for me. But rest assured, my eyes will be all over that. :sneaky: Yup.

Oh, I've already bought tix for WonderCon to see Ridley at that event but the Q&A at the theater later in the day is the one I almost snagged tix to. Hopefully, I'll see JGL. That would be lovely.

Lola Versus is the movie. With Greta Gerwig. Though not sure if he'll attend but fingers crossed.

I think remember reading (EW.com/L.Standard?) about Greta Gerwig and they were talking about this movie, calling it the bittersweet movie about relationships of her friends. But it could have been describing another one of her recent/past films (mumblecore) so that's not really helping is it!

absolutely despise wolves now[/B].
I noticed that too. How many Fox films has Fassy made so far? I'm hoping this film will be a bit gritty, cuz the story sounds a bit too lovey dovey to me.
No wolf love? This made me giggle and I haven't even seen The Grey

Gemini - God luck with getting in...that amount of dedication its its own reward (or really good story!) Is it like seeing that mythical band where at the last desperate minute you flash skin to get past the bouncer ;-)

She looks a bit… how can I say that without coming across as rude/jealous/bitter… a bit tacky to be honest FYI he likes 'em pretty young :graucho:

- confidence is always good! Hope you get to cross him off the bucket list -that really made me giggle too-
those girls are all very pretty and as long as its fun and not getting in the way of your career or ovaries (groan) or whatever, I never thought age should be an issue, male or female. Anyway he's a single malt irish whiskey...smokey and contained...better with age

Nothing new to these pics but I like the texts, especially the one by the actor's bruised head saying 'improving, non-stop'.

It sounds like it's a romance novel.

Honestly, people dump on romance but it's the genre that keeps the publishing industry alive. Have you all heard about the 50 Shades of Grey thing? Next Twilight and all that, only the couple in the books is into BDSM. It's in movie talks. Would love to see fassy in that. :graucho:

Unfortunately (or fortunately for myself as a romance author) "schmaltzy" appeals to the masses.

I had no idea about this but when I think about it, it does make sense. There are so many romance books out there, not only in libraries but also in book stores. They wouldn't be published if there was no interest.

Schmalzy part is that female lead falls in love with male lead because she hears his love messages to his wife, all while they're lost and injured in wilderness. Major leg injury leaves you in a lot of pain and discomfort. The last thing on anyone's mind is romance. That's just too much. JMO. This comes from a person who cried while reading PS, I Love You and The Notebook. So no judging on my side. ;) :flowers:

I read that 50 Shades of Grey was uber long Twilight fanfic at first. Author changed names, places and some details in order to publish it as a proper book.

Kat is gorgeous, very nice to fans, talented and in a relationship ATM. Never say never though. :D

I know, love love the ny subway but its more a romantic love because its not exactly fast or non-stop. And 'improving' - that's kinda what you say to sweet dim children for encouragement when they do something particularly average ;-)
