Well, DrTr, sweet handsome Dave does deserve his own Hermes bag to carry his goodies so he can snack whenever his tummy growls or, frankly, whenever he feels like it.

So, while you love this bag, it's his!!!!! Yes, you will have to get on that Hermes "slippery slope" and just get an Hermes bag for you.

Many thanks for your lovely compliments on my babies in my Avatar. The kitty, Perrier, passed away earlier this year. He was a rescued Russian Blue within hours of being put to sleep. He was best pals with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlemagne, and this photo was not staged. These 2 boys just loved each other!!!!!!

Again, major congratulations on an excellent choice for your first Hermes bag. They are a joy beyond belief!

merrydish, I'm am so sorry you lost Perrier. No matter how many of our beloved fur babies we lose, it just never gets any easier. He is gorgeous. I bet Charlemagne misses him too.

Thank you so much for your kind thoughts, DrTr,! Honestly, I don't know if Charlemagne truly misses his pal, Perrier, as I suspect he's the type who revels in being an only child. And, gracious, does he ever milk it!!!!!!!

Amusingly, Perrier taught him how to clean his face by first licking his paw and then swiping his face. Charlemagne still does that and, I must say it's adorable.

Hmmmm, must check my Hermes stash and see if Charlemagne is deserving, lol!

How funny! He must be very well groomed by now. I'm sure he deserves a little orange for himself.

Hello my Dr. Doolittle Friends,
Chloe, the pygmy goat in my Birkin from over a year ago (remember the post?) became a mom too young and bred with a large goat—both no-no’s and resulted in an exhausting pregnancy that created a whirlwind for months. At one point, after several x-rays and ultra-sounds, I was very close to the heartbreaking decision to put her to sleep as she would never be able to deliver the two large babies and an emergency C-section was highly risky as a goat cannot be safely anesthetized. Long story a bit shorter, my angel veterinarian assisted in a precarious delivery at her own home, internally positioning and repositioning the babies several times so that they could be delivered, and everyone LIVED: Mama Chloe (thank God) Rico, a boy, Dancer, a girl, AND a miracle girl who escaped all forms of detection. She was so tiny none of the doctors or technicians saw her in any of the tests—they believe she must have been tucked up in a rib cage.
Sadly, Chloe sensed the runt would die and refused to feed her as nature would have her do; she needs to keep the other two babies alive with her limited milk. So, of course, I have been bottle feeding the 11 ounce baby, only 1/3 the size of the others, every 3-4 hours around the clock. In eleven days, the baby has doubled her weight and has “made it.”
Please meet Esmeralda Magdalena Raisin Mini Peanut in her Rocabar twilly.
So adorable

Hello my Hermes/Animal loving PFers:

A rescue friend asked if I would bottle feed an abandoned two day old kitten and you all know my answer. Well, here she is at three weeks, climbing a mountain of H ribbon as I cleaned out some closet space. At this age, all she should do is sleep and eat, but I keep her with me and she stays awake for an hour or so and then, bam, collapses. Of course, she is now a member of the family. Her name is Skunk. And do you remember Magdalena aka Peanut, the miracle goat I saved and am still bottle feeding??? She is soooo jealous and hates the little furball ! I was feeding Skunk outside and Magdalena kept head butting the little fluff until I of course, interceded! A goat jealous of a kitten. Pretty funny. I had to share a few pics. My favorite is the one of the nipples on the kitchen counter! My DH shakes his head. Thanks for letting me share.

Keep us updated how she is doing... So young! And very soon she will be very active and you will get no rest. I don't have any experience with kittens that young or jealous goats for that matter, :D but there is a lady here http://forum.purseblog.com/animalicious/it-just-never-ends-770653-41.html who may have good tips.

Love Dave -- want both him and his bag! :graucho: Love love love the plume! What size is it? It is at the top of my wish list (along with one or two others lol).
Thank you lulilu! Dave would love to give you kisses and wags, he's a big love bug, although I don't know if he would loan his bag yet :giggles: I love plumes too - but my bag is a Victoria 35. Sorry to disappoint - the bag isn't smooshy yet, and I've put a divide and conquer bag insert to keep it more "shapely", so it kind of looks like a plume. And I'm with you - I have a bolide, a birkin, a kelly and a... And a.... on my wish list as so many of us do. I have noticed though that since I have my first I feel a little more patient. Thanks again - dogs and Hermes, what a great, combo!

merrydish, I am sorry to hear about Perrier but I can see he had a wonderful life with his buddy and you, his mamma.

DrTr, I am so glad I scrolled back to see Dave. What a brave person you are to put your new bag on the floor with such a big boy! But I guess that's what others are saying about me putting an un-litterboxed kitten in a bag too, huh? Dave and bag are gorgeous!!

ladysarah, Skunk is quite a little stinker and I took some pics just for you! I was decorating my bag and he chose Piggy but I'm not sure that was the best selection. He enjoyed smelling Ms. Barenia and played inside, and then, plunked down to sleep.
