DrTr, I am so glad I scrolled back to see Dave. What a brave person you are to put your new bag on the floor with such a big boy! But I guess that's what others are saying about me putting an un-litterboxed kitten in a bag too, huh? Dave and bag are gorgeous!!

ladysarah, Skunk is quite a little stinker and I took some pics just for you! I was decorating my bag and he chose Piggy but I'm not sure that was the best selection. He enjoyed smelling Ms. Barenia and played inside, and then, plunked down to sleep.

Thank you for the lovely photos. She seems to be doing well-the only danger is that she could develop a rather expensive taste in bags... How is he getting on with the other household pets and the goats?:smile1:

Hello my PF friends,

You are always so kind and tolerant of my posts so I must share another gift in my life. Acorn, my new rescued squirrel loves CDCs and even though I take them off before I feed him, he is attracted to the leather and hardware--but thank goodness, mostly loves sitting on my shoulder and in my hair.

"Acorn" was captured by a hungry hawk hunting for breakfast but as the hawk landed in its nest, the squirrel scurried out and hit the ground hard. Stunned only and not to worry---the rescue kittens loaned out their baba and now Acorn is healthy and well. He lives in my bathroom right now and greets me when I open the door, up on his hind legs with open little paws. He eats, falls asleep, and then I put him back in his little home. I look horrible but as ladysarah says, this is "real life" and of the worst weekend kind, but vanity cannot get in the way of showing off one of the little miracles that graces my life. I can't get a twilly around his neck but might work on a bolduc ribbon toy.

You have my dream life, sparkelisab. I love animals of all kinds and your Dr. Doolittle existence is wondrous--especially for all the animals to whom you offer a safe, loving home. Thank you for sharing your menagerie, and please give Acorn an extra snuggle for me. What a sweetie!

Oh Sparks, u have touched my heart again! This is just the sweetest thing ever. I think it would be so cute to keep a photo album of your rescued with your H items and show your SA. This just gives a whole new meaning to this thread "mes & pets".

This puppy CDC works for now, but when she grows out of it, I'm taking over.

The 2nd picture is an oldie but a goody. Unfortunately I couldn't keep the baby Jaguar, he was so cute and loves H bracelets as much as I do.

He's adorable! He's very tame clearly, and trusts you. It reminds me of a few winters ago, having just lost our beloved boy GSD suddenly at seven, I fed our "glossy boys" - 3 baby squirrels in the midst of a 14" snowstorm. They came back all winter, growing bigger and ever more sleek, and helped ease our sorrow just a bit. When we lose a beloved family member, we also lose our caretaking of them, which feels so good. Clearly Acorn loves it at chez sparkle and will look fetching in bolduc!

This! Your puppy is just fabulous in her stunning new dog collar! She is a doll. And I love the jaguar - I'm sure as she grew your bracelets might have been in danger :amuse:

AWWWWWW! Lisa you are simply incredible, I adore your new little Acorn! What a lucky squirrel he is.
I think of you every time I see or hear about goats, I still want one:)
Braxton says "goat" now, one of the few words he knows.

What an amazing story! I love your adventures, and you could NEVER look anything but lovely- irrespectively of your outfit, someone who cares for animals like you do, has inner light shinning through....
