Yeah me too, the new packaging looks good but kinda cheap.
The brown looks much better more classy.
In my opinion the brown LV boxes beats every other brand although i do like Cartier boxes.
So after much deliberation and constant trying things on I ended up going with a Speedy 40 in mono. I added a mono luggage tag to try to butch it up some and I enjoy carrying it. I got a base shaper for the bottom and the amount I can fit in it is surprising. Most people just think it's a gym bag.
I scrutinized between it and the Keepall 45 in Macasar but at the end of the day I'm 5'9" and it was too much bag for me.
Now however, (because the bug never ends) I'm also considering a Christopher backpack. Pros/cons? Mod shots?

My Pre Fall collection. I saved my butt of for them and my boyfriend really helped in getting them. I'm super happy and thank god I got the bug for LV.

I always look at the details before purchasing. You should look at these sorts of things before leaving the store or as soon as you get it home before using it. Handmade will never be perfect but if it bothers you and you just got it, take it back and exchange it. Otherwise, I wouldn't think there is anything they can do to fix it. These are the exact quality control issues that have become more prevelant and problematic with LV products. I sent back a PDV GM a few weeks ago bc the front rivets were crooked. Also exchanged a new Michael bc the front zippered compartment was crooked.

Is it uneven or just one part of the cloth the zipper is on is raised in one area and not in the other?
Awesome! I'm thinking about the speedy 40 for a gym bag.. Otherwise another keepall. Kind of want the 50 band. In mono. I have to christopher PM's and I absolutely love that bag for everyday and every type of use. I have the mono mac and the DG with the acid yellow trim. Get it for sure!
The human eye is just not perfect to see things precise. Nothings we create is exactly symmetrical. Because to me, I don't see it.
