Im kind of fond of leather jackets - and own mostly black ones and a gray, pink ( i know right?) and a brown one...
I was going to try and soften the leather jacket with my first silk..
since i wear the black / gray mostly, should i maybe try the blue or turquoise?
The black sounds inviting... can you post a pic please?

amacasa, the black Brazil will look unbelievable with your brown and black leather jackets!!! Seriously, this is exactly how I would style it. Man!! Now I need one, too! I just went on to the website www.maitaispicturebook.com and Mai Tai bought the black Brazil. Please see her amazing pics! They are so inspiring and will give you a better idea of how this Maxi Twilly will look with your wardrobe. I am so sorry that I can't figure out how to post her pics here. Added to say, the blue and turquoise would look great with the black and gray leather jackets, but I love the feathers and how they pop against the black background. Tough but chic and cool all wrapped up in to one!

I know I am not much help here, but another suggestion would be to look at pictures of the silver (gray) version of the Brazil. That would most definitely soften your black and gray leather jackets while still keeping an edge to your look. I think it depends on which colors you gravitate to. Sorry, I like too many to stick with one, but I will cast my vote for either the black or silver Brazil. (or both! ha!) Look at post 579 of this thread. Kewave has displayed her beautiful silver (gray) Brazil and Cavalcadours for you to see.

The length is terrific for a tall person like myself. I can wrap once around neck and then have a long draping front BUT there is not as much silk obviously to feel that luxuriously cocooned feeling around the neck. This might be a good thing for spring or even warmer days when you want to wear a silk but a 140 or even a 90 is too much. BUT, for cooler weather, I think I prefer the 140. If I double wrap my neck, using more silk, the width of the twilly does not layer as nicely as a 140 either.

While the price point is appealing, the lack of ample silk might look paltry or spindly on a person of my height and size and yet, might be too long on a petite person??

As a belt---fabulous!!! Bathing suit---Foxgirl? You hottie!! But not for this girl!:giggles:

Oh, I feel you.. I used to lived right downtown, just 2 minutes walk to the boutique, but I moved to the deep South just before the floods (thankfully) and now I realize just how spoiled I was!
You look fabulous in your new Maxi Twilly, it reminds me that I must make the trip into the core (though I seem to be doing enough damage from the four walls of home these days :p ) we just might see each other there one of these visits.

Sparkle, I like it on you and I really appreciate your reflections. I finally ordered the grey Brazil and think my first wear will be in my hair, either braided or hair band/turban style:D

So, like I said, this thread has been very enabling which means I am a member of the Maxi Twilly club too now :graucho:.
I fell in love with the red Cavalcadour, but I definitely would like one or two Brazil MT's as well.
Undecided which one to take, any suggestions are welcome :graucho:. My favorites for the Brazil are the turquoise (but I think that one isn't available yet), the orange, the grey, the fuchsia and the bright green. Now, which one to get next :thinkin:?
While I think about that question, I will enjoy my red Cavalcadour MT in the meantime. Really love this one :heart:.

I have the same scarf. Every time I see a picture of it, I realise I made the right choice for my first maxi twilly - you look great!

Out of the Brazils in your list, my preferences would be orange, bright green (there's an SA in the Sydney store wearing one and it's fabulous), fuchsia, turquoise and then grey.
