Okay Silkies,

I am wearing my Maxi to pilot the love or non-love. I had to try of course. Here are my reactions if anyone is interested.

The length is terrific for a tall person like myself. I can wrap once around neck and then have a long draping front BUT there is not as much silk obviously to feel that luxuriously cocooned feeling around the neck. This might be a good thing for spring or even warmer days when you want to wear a silk but a 140 or even a 90 is too much. BUT, for cooler weather, I think I prefer the 140. If I double wrap my neck, using more silk, the width of the twilly does not layer as nicely as a 140 either.

While the price point is appealing, the lack of ample silk might look paltry or spindly on a person of my height and size and yet, might be too long on a petite person??

As a belt---fabulous!!! Bathing suit---Foxgirl? You hottie!! But not for this girl!:giggles:

Here is a quick shot before work--certainly no photo shoot shot....

Love this on you, sparklelisab! Especially with the matching earrings .

I have been watching this very enabling thread for a while now and I really enjoyed all the pictures in this thread. Everyone looks fantastic with their Maxi Twilly's !
So, like I said, this thread has been very enabling which means I am a member of the Maxi Twilly club too now :graucho:.
I fell in love with the red Cavalcadour, but I definitely would like one or two Brazil MT's as well.
Undecided which one to take, any suggestions are welcome :graucho:. My favorites for the Brazil are the turquoise (but I think that one isn't available yet), the orange, the grey, the fuchsia and the bright green. Now, which one to get next :thinkin:?
While I think about that question, I will enjoy my red Cavalcadour MT in the meantime. Really love this one .

sparkle friend, This is beautiful on you!! Turquoise really likes you! Hope you wear more of this shade! I have only worn my red calvacadour as a belt, so I need to wear it looped like this. I like a loop as I am a bit loopy anyway. :panic: Love it paired with your jacket and that fab CDC, too. You go, girl!

Chanel, You are a true beauty. (I love the color of your birkin! Is it Capucine or RC? Whatever it is, it is amazing!)

Love everyone's looks! Was trying to find a way to wear mine for a dressy business event with a black shift, and found it looked great just draped and belted like a tunic.

BTW, thank you to everyone's graciousness for my crazy swimsuit shot...it was a sad case of too much stress, followed by too much wine. Don't drink and post ladies! Lesson learned! :shame: (I'm so horrified!)

foxgal, you are adorable! (You looked amazing in your Twilly Swim Suit.)

Awww thank you, you really make me blush with your sweet compliment, Ladybaga :blushing:!
My Birkin is Sanguine in Togo ;).

MaiTai's blog has a new feature on her maxi twilly. She has joined our ranks!

Thank you for sharing, need to check it out :D.

It's all your fault, ladies. I bought the gris Cavalcadour this morning! Only my second H scarf ever - I am a bag girl. I wear scarves a great deal but rarely H as my style is a little more bohemian/rock'n'roll - but I think this piece could work in a lot of ways. We shall see but wouldn't have happened without this thread!!

well hello there lady!
have been going back and forth with this as well...
This will be my first ever H silk.. and quite unsure if it is for me...
I definitely love the Brazil design as its more free spirited with the feathers and all and a bit bohemian.. but which color way???? :thinkin:
Absolutely, definitely, fabulously stunning foxgal!!!!!!
:loveeyes::tup::tup:

Grateful if the owners of those unnamed above and other CWs not listed could kindly help finish the list :)

I got myself the Cavalcadour in black and the Brazil in orange for mom. It took some serious self control not to buy more. But having read that the Maxi Twilly will come in Brides de Gala next season, I decided to wait!

Hi amacasa! Welcome to the wacky world of Maxi Twillies! The Brazil design is amazing! The next step is to ask yourself if you prefer soft colors (like the silver, pink cw) or neutrals (black/gold) or pops of color like the red, green, orange, or fuchsia? I have seen the orange which is very pretty, and not too bright as the other colors paired with the orange are more neutral. I haven't seen the blue version and some say there is a turquoise Brazil out there. I am fond of the black Brazil, myself. (Even though I bought the red Cavalcadour. :smile1:) If I could only have one more, it would be the black Brazil. Hope that helps.
