LOL. OK, ladies...so I just caved and purchased the black Cavalcadour from H.com. I am still on the fence about Maxis but at this price point, I figured I can't go wrong and the black cw is a no brainer. Also, I am kinda afraid that I will regret not getting at least one so...I did it. Have a great day everyone!

I just caved too! We'll see!

Tell me about it!
With all the colorways available to choose in London and with VAT refund, how could I not cave too?!

I felt the same way kewave, I came home with two from Italy, but going through the refund process was a bit challenging since our flight left at 6:30 am!

WELCOME TO THE MAXI TWILLY SIDE! :ninja:

Well - this is why I take breaks from theboard...my resistance is futile. After seeing all the modeling and I just ordered 2 from h.com. My store only had the Brazil print and I didn't feel that So I ordered 03 - black and the 06 which I think is the red one. Hopefully it will go well with my new bag:D

Thanks for the posts! Now I need a ticket to Ban Island.

Okay Silkies,

I am wearing my Maxi to pilot the love or non-love. I had to try of course. Here are my reactions if anyone is interested.

The length is terrific for a tall person like myself. I can wrap once around neck and then have a long draping front BUT there is not as much silk obviously to feel that luxuriously cocooned feeling around the neck. This might be a good thing for spring or even warmer days when you want to wear a silk but a 140 or even a 90 is too much. BUT, for cooler weather, I think I prefer the 140. If I double wrap my neck, using more silk, the width of the twilly does not layer as nicely as a 140 either.

While the price point is appealing, the lack of ample silk might look paltry or spindly on a person of my height and size and yet, might be too long on a petite person??

As a belt---fabulous!!! Bathing suit---Foxgirl? You hottie!! But not for this girl!:giggles:

Here is a quick shot before work--certainly no photo shoot shot....

Lovely! I'm glad you decided to try it. I agree this is more for warm weather, but I live in cold climate and I'll wear it on top of my turtleneck this winter.

It looks fab on you sparkle - don't you need a lighter weight silk for your warm weather area? I love the size and format on you (and for me too). You rock these colors girlfriend.
