Yes, I would say so. I am so sad. One is fraying & one got snagged. Can any knowledgeable tpfers comment here? Am I too rough on my maxis or is their quality to blame?

OH NO!!!!! Can you post a pic??? Snags are one thing but FRAYING after one or 2 wears? That is not acceptable!!!

Ladies, what does it mean "fraying"? Just checked my dictionary and there are a few meanings of this word.
Could you please post the picture. I've just bought two more maxi-twillies. Unfortunately, didn't see this discussion before buying.
And yes, just checked mine. Everything is okay so far. But I only tried it at home once.

Are any of you maxi twilly owners looking at the regular twillies and feeling like they are a little small? Do you think you will ever go back to the smaller size? I am trying to figure out if there is room for both sizes in my wardrobe or if I am a permanent maxi twilly convert? I guess I still need the smaller size to spruce up my hats. I'm not comfortable with a huge piece of silk trailing behind me like Rapunzel...

I definitely think there is a purpose for both. I use my twillys as headbands and the Maxi as a scarf.

Just got my maxi and am in love! Following this thread and various comments:
- I can appreciate that laser is not the same as screened, and hand-rolled edges are not the same as machine-stitched... but omg the quality of these are amazing given the size and price point
- finding this size and shape has tons of tying options...more length and drape ability than a 90 without the bulk of a 140 in a bias fold

Hope they do one with a Oliver print or ...something busy like chasse en inde or legende moghole

Ok, I've clearly gone over the top here....but as we're all revelling in the practicality of the MT, why not a monokini? ;-)

:loveeyes::tup::tup:

I've gone through the thread and didn't seem to see a full list of colourways. Below is my attempt; please excuse me if it's been posted somewhere else...

CAVALCADOUR
ref. 091698S
03 Reglisse/Gris/Vieil Or
05 Canard/Fuchsia/Brique
06 red
07 Orange/Argile/Bouton
10 Bordeaux/Canard/Fuchsia
14 Gris Perle/Mauve/Crevette

BRAZIL
ref. 091793S
05 green
06 red
09 grey
10 Orange/Gris/Ebene
11 fuchsia
14 Noir/Kaki/Vieil Or

Grateful if the owners of those unnamed above and other CWs not listed could kindly help finish the list :)

I got myself the Cavalcadour in black and the Brazil in orange for mom. It took some serious self control not to buy more. But having read that the Maxi Twilly will come in Brides de Gala next season, I decided to wait!

LOL, MYH! :roflmfao:@Rapunzel

I love these maxi twillies! They are pretty, versatile & gentle on my purse. A few days ago I thought I might want to phase out my 140 silk. But today I discovered sth I don't like. I saw tiny spots of frayed silk thread stickng out of the twilly in a # of places. I guess these twillies may not be as long lasting as my 90s or moussies!:sad:
Oh my!! This sounds pretty scary ! Can you post a pic?
