Can I just say I was disturbed by the rough edges on my new flat Chaîne d'Ancre, so much so I was almost at tantrum, steam coming out of my ears level. Then I found out I could peel the cellophane protective layer off :shame: :D

Thx papertiger! I actually wrote about my experience in one of my posts here. I once had a bolduc scarf ring which I had used not many times. Dropped it. Was unaware metal was dented. Of course snags were created on one of my scarves. Very unhappy. Finally removed the scarf ring. Now it will be hung on a Xmax tree when Xmas comes!:p
I should be grateful if u would comment on the durability of your maxi twilly in comparison to other H scarves a few months down the road. Hope that u could shed some light on my strange experience!;)

SA informed me that company policy dictated that only 1 exchange was allowed. So I inspected my new maxi as if I were performing an autopsy! Normally, u would expect to find them on old scarves. Mine is brand new & I have ALWAYS put on surgical gloves(u can see I was wearing them in the photos) when I put on/remove scarves. I have adopted this habit for months & ALL my silks, moussies & CSMCs are snag-free. So u can imagine my surprise when I found a bunch of snags/frayings on my maxi! Now I am wondering the wisdom of getting more maxis!

All my H scarves have these things, which I call micro snags. Sooner or later my scarves always have them. Because I can't behave perfect all the time and my hands have dry skin in the winter. Surgical gloves might help me wearing the scarf at home, but not when I'm fixing it later outside the house. I'm only human and they're only silks. I see them as just normal wear and tear. By the way, my maxi twillies I just bought are all fine, so I'm sure their quality is as fine as my other H scarves that I've been collecting for ten years now.
I'm sorry you are disappointed, but I think this is just very minor problem to a scarf that has been handled. When I see your pictures they don't look as bad as it sound, really. And they are beautiful 😊

I am trying to attach some photos of the same Brazil as you have. I was hesitating a bit between this one and orange Calvacadour, which the shop manager preferred on me. But this Brazil has a very delicate side. Yellow parts on Calvacadour put me a bit off. Maybe I would buy a black Calvacadour as it goes with everything. Hope pictures will upload correctly.

THX EVERYBODY for this cw list..But as for Brazil I noted there must be some cw which is not listed , a COBALT BLUE one that is on Canadian H WEB and in the promo video, and a light TURQUOISE one , that is the cw which started the promo video.. Some of you Ladies has ordered or bought these and can say more about this new colors?? TIAAAAAAAA;)
