Ha! You assume correctly. The new film he directed, The Boys in the Boat, premieres on Christmas Day. George is every bit as self-serving as anyone else in the entertainment industry. I know some people want to believe he’s better than that, but no. He’s got good publicists, I’ll give him that.

Addiction has touched too many of my loved ones, dealers need to absolutely be held accountable, especially since ONE fentanyl laced pill can kill someone dubbing it an "overdose", when it's actually poisoning.

He was only 20 and the dealer was barely older.
In NewYork, they are prosecuting drug dealers regularly.

In Texas they're pursuing the dealers (et al) more now than they did before. I personally know a mom that led the lead after her young son passed from one pill laced with fentanyl. I'm hoping more states are pursuing.
it's sad what's happening with fentanyl...yes, these people may be using illegal drugs or using prescription drugs inappropriately but they aren't knowingly using fentanyl

Good-I hope this sets an example and not just because he was a celebrity.
I think most states are going after the dealers. It's the only way to stem the crisis. Our friends lost a son who had just graduated from college, and our daughter's friend lost a brother. Most people know or know of someone who has been lost to fentanyl.
Some may think ketamine is not as dangerous, but that is not the case. It is not meant to be used recreationally.
