My last MM from the final sale. The end of an era....

Two of the bags I ordered in the final sale arrived today. Miss M is my absolute favorite style, and I love all of Marco's vacchetta leathers.

One is tan Vacchetta Lux with darker edge paint and dark gunmetal hardware. I love the dark edge paint and dark gunmetal combo. I just don't like gold hardware, and I feel like the dark edge paint makes the gunmetal hardware look great with the tan leather.

For the other one, Marco was out of smoke grey HMV when I ordered it, but he still had this taupe Vacchetta Lux. The color is a bit hard to photograph, but it's really pretty and a nice neutral color I don't have in any of my other bags.

I don't find Miss M to be heavy at all because it doesn't have very much hardware. I think the skinny straps also make it feel more lightweight. The straps also stay on my shoulder better than other bags.

2023 was a horrible year for me. Few months ago, I was forced to inform all of you about the pending end of our production and workshop. In all honesty, I was absolutely sure that it was impossible physically, mentally and financially to keep producing our beautiful handmade bags.

I have learned that life can be extremely hard but it can also be incredibly surprising. Six months ago I did not see any light at the end of the tunnel, I saw pain, sadness and a depressing scenario. Now I have restarted creating new exciting projects for me, MM and you my supportive customers. I realized making bags is an extension of my soul. I have been lucky but the big difference was the love and support I received from many of you during this recent period. I believe that nothing can give more strength than love!

I want to thank you for the love and support from all of you. Thank you, I will not forget it for the rest of my life!

There is no better way to end this crazy year than by introducing a new and exciting MM style. Introducing Sophie, goddess of wisdom and rebirth. The perfect name for this beautiful semi-structured satchel with a vertical zip pocket in the middle of the front panel. My goal was to create a handbag with a lot of interior space without producing a large bag. Thanks to its wide top zipper with 2 sliders I have designed a very large top opening that many have been requesting and I know will be appreciated. Sophia comes with a detachable crossbody strap that is attached by 2 rings that are hidden on the back of 2 handle attachments. I've chosen Deerskin to produce the first official sample of this new style: a perfect leather for a semi-structured style.

I wasn't planning to buy another bag for a while, but the teal HMV in Marco's latest promo is calling my name. It's gorgeous. Here's a picture with the teal and rust HMV and the Old Brass hardware in case it helps anyone.

Has anyone ordered any HMV this time? There are so many colors in HMV that I like, just curious if anyone has made any choices yet?

My favorites are the 2 new colors, Teal and Purple, also the Dark Green, Tan and Rust.

HMV is my favorite leather. I ordered a Lucilla in Teal with the Old Brass Hardware. I don't think Lucilla is on his website, but I bought one as what I thought was going to be my final bag in black Cuoio Tuscano. I carried it while traveling over Christmas, and I love it. It's similar to a Bouquet but without the side ties and not nearly as massive.

I also introduced some family friends to the brand. They ordered a Teal Bouquet for their daughter who is in med school and getting married in June, and a side-pocket Selene Midi in Smoke Grey for their daughter who is graduating from college in May. I'm excited for them and hope they become repeat customers.
