Marco's lead times have really shortened lately. My Lucca Midi in light tan Spider from the Spider sale came last week. I did dark gunmetal hardware and constrast stitching and edge paint. I love the leather and the style. It's very lightweight and easy to carry.

My Wide Favola in bougainville Guantino from the summer sale came yesterday. It's amazing. The color is stunning. I've wanted a Wide Favola for a while now, and I love this style too. Guantino is super lux.

Wow! The colour of that purple bag! I wish I could afford another bag but I hardly ever leave the house so cannot justify buying more bags.

My latest delivery from Italy!

1. Victoria Alto- Terracotta Guantino, light gold hardware, tortilla lining

2. Victoria Alto— navy Spider, light gunmetal hardware, silver lining

Love Guantino and Spider leathers! Marco suggested the Terracotta color and, as usual, he was so right. It is such a beautiful, earthy color! The Navy Spider is a true navy, but it looks a little brighter in the pic than real life.

Both are lovely, but your wide Favola is stunning! Can you tell me a bit more about the leather? Is it soft and slouchy or not so much? I was very disappointed with my last purchase (Soulmate in Nappa). I read nappa and my mind instantly went to the land of bunny soft and smooshy leather. But it's totally not. It feels very stiff and almost plasticky...
I didn't like it one bit and gave the bag to my mom.

There’s a lot of love for Marco’s nappa. I don’t like it. I had one large bag in Nappa, and sold it. I hated it. Before Guantino, I said, going forward, I would only use Nappa for small or clutch handbags. Guantino is everything I wanted Nappa to be, so no reason for me to consider Nappa at all. It’s incredibly soft, supple and smooshy. I have a wide Favola and a Sophia in Guantino. It works well for both. It has become my number one leather choice. Marco said Guantino was the number one leather request for orders. It’s amazing and I highly recommend it.

Thanks so much for the insight, super helpful! Right?! I had no idea nappa could differ so much. If I decide on another MM bag, it will definitely be in Guantino. Thanks again! :flowers:

Nappa isn't one of my favorite leathers of Marco's either. I like it for handles or for using it as a trim, but I don't really like it for an entire bag. I also don't really like Merinos. It just feels a little off to me.

I love Guantino. It just feels super lux and has the perfect amount of body and slouch to it. HMV was my favorite of Marco's leather before he introduced Guantino. Guantino is right up there with HMV for me. Guantino is definitely going to be my go-to for soft, lux bags. It's perfect for Wide Favola or any bag you want to be soft and have some slouch.

I think the new Roma style would look great in Guantino as well.

I’m definitely thinking of Guantino for a Roma. It’s so cute. I used to be a big fan of Fossil bags. When I saw Roma, it immediately reminded me of Fossil. I can get the look of Fossil with Marco’s premium leather. Yay! ❤️

Adding to my Olimpia family.

1. Little Olimpia in Pale pink Guantino, silver hardware, pink lining

2. Little Olimpia in Dim Grey Spider, dark gunmetal hardware, Ed lining

I love the little Olimpia size! It looks small but holds everything I usually carry with room to spare. It has a generous booty so it holds more than it looks. The style and leather also allows for a beautiful drape at the top. Shoulder strap is very comfortable for shoulder carry without slippage and crossbody strap is great for times when you need to be hands free.
