the first day i used it, it was raining, and i thought "this is the bag to use in the rain because it seems like it'll last through anything...." and it did :D

dlynn - yayy fellow shorties ;)

don't worry dlynn..i'm five o too.

i know V, your right..i have a hard enough time rotating the bags i do have now.

ooohhh...chessmont, have you posted pictures of the Army MT yet?? I loved the swatch color, and have been dying to see one IRL or as close as I can get to it!

Aw heck, I knew someone was going to ask; I don't really "do" pics, I can never seem to get them sized right, but I'll try. It may take me awhile to get them up here;)

hehe you should "do" pictures!! i love it when people post pics of their bag because it's good reference.. though then it just me makes want the color/style/bag more.....

I measured and the according to HG website, the Large MT has similar dimensions to the LV Keepall 50. Those of you who have it or have seen it, do you think it would make a good plane carryon to fit in the overhead bin? Erica, or anyone else, do you think the strap placement could support what one might put in a keepall, or do you think it should it be handheld only under those circumstances (if it seems like it could be a carryon)?

I think it can easily be worn over the shoulder with the handles if stuffed really full...it depends on how heavy it is when stuffed to wear with the strap - maybe inparis can comment - she has the large and uses often on a daily basis. I do know it will fit really great on the plane, either under your seat or overhead. It will slouch down and fit nicely. Plus I truly think it's got to be the lightest weight bag in it's class - so many of the large weekend type bags are heavy before you even stuff them.
