If I went through both bags (yes, I have two), I'm sure I could find imperfections... Do I look for them? No... I have too many other things in business that I'm anal about, purses are for my pleasure.

But that's me. I like my bags to have character so minor imperfections don't fuss me. If it bothers you, that's another story! Like your boyfriend, I honestly don't think anyone else would notice. But if you're not going to enjoy it because of that, why keep it?

I don't think that any of us have a bag that is 1000% perfect, nor do I think it probable that there is one that has been made to that standard... There's something that keeps on drawing you to this bag, so I say enjoy!

You are right... I have to stop thinking thiw way (I do it generally in my life, not only with bags), and I only harm myself with these thoughts.

Thank you in paris, you make some excellent points here. Yes, I agree that there is not a perfect bag, and I should relax and enjoy it.
I do the same thing with clothes!!!! I am even worse there, I act like Poirot, investigating all aspects! I try to tell myself that even a perfect thing will not remain perfect forever, but then a second voice tells me that a new thing should be flawless!

I am working on it though! :D

LOL! You would have a heart-attack if you went through my closet (my mom sure does) :p

Maybe this bag will be a new beginning for you... a relaxed, casual, Bohemian you... Put on some holey jeans, an ever-so-slighly frayed leather jacket, and be WILD!

:D I will do my best!! There are so many things that stress us, clothes and bags should be a source of joy! You have helped me a lot in paris, you are my personal psychologist lol!

Ohhhh!!!! Now I see it!! The bag is finally unlocked and opened!! Whew...I had to be careful to not yank the strap off. Thank you so much for helping me in paris! :yahoo:
