Thank you! So you don't think the condition is a bad thing? Or too worn?
Doesn't look too worn to me, though I'm not too exacting about condition as long as there aren't any rips, holes, big wear on the corners, and (the least tolerable to me) color fading. Your color looks great.

I have this black city that's even smoother than yours and still made with lambskin. 1680020752914.png

As far as I can tell, there aren't any rips or tears at all. Nothing was disclosed about that in the listing, so I assume not? Fashionphile (from my experience) is really good about disclosing any sort of flaws or discrepancies in their listings. The color is a nice rich black, and doesn't look faded to me at all.

Thanks for your response! :)

OK, here are a few pics of the corners and closeups of the handles. Doesn't look like there are any rips/tears on the corners. Thanks!

To be honest there’s more wear on the corner that I can see ( can’t tell what the rest are like) than I would want. The leather on the handles in your earlier pics looks loose and a bit baggy, but I’m just going off of pics. These things can be repaired but at a cost. If the body of the leather is lovely that’s a point in it’s favour but for the cost of the repairs I’d rather spend more on a bag that’s in better condition.
However, that’s just my opinion. Some people are happy to tolerate some damage if the leather is great. I’m just not one of them.

Thank you so much for your opinion. I really appreciate it. Actually, the leather on the bag itself is in good condition and the black is very rich; doesn't seem faded at all. The only corner that seems more worn, is the one that I focused on with the closeup pic. Otherwise, the other corners are OK. The only thing that really bothers me about this bag are the worn/frayed handles. That I think will bug me. But a part of me wants to keep it because I got such a good deal on it, and the one corner shouldn't bug me, but the handles will. I don't know what to do at this point lol. Thanks for your help, @muchstuff.

You can get the handles fixed at Lovin My Bags. I think it’s a couple hundred or so, so if the rest of the bag is worth keeping you may want to consider that.

Oh, thank you for the recommendation. Is it something that I just ship it to have them fix? I was looking on Fashionphile's website, and there are quite a few black BAL bags that are in "very good" condition that are between $550-675. I might consider one of those instead. Still don't know. Ugh so frustrating because I really like the bag that I got.
