I'm having a lot of trouble processing all the advice here and am hoping someone can help streamline it for me. I have the apple conditioner amd just got the cammello azzurro bucket. Do I condition it first? Wait? I have processing issues and when there's too much into it gets overwhelming. So any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks!

I have never conditioned my bags prior to using them, but that is a personal preference.

Neither have I. I do use chamberlains when I use my bags and they get scuffed because it helps to blend them in but I don't use any protectant, just conditioner on the scuffs.

Seeking advice for a 1st time user of leather conditioners... for the black/marina bucket bag, which leather conditioner would you guys recommend based on ease of usage as well as to help with scuffs (i'm quite the butterfingered person... and I drop EVERYthing... I also think i'm going to end up scratching the bag alot >.<) between:

1. Apple leather conditioner
2. Chamberlain's Leather milk #1

Many thanks in advanced for any advices!

Just as an FYI, if you have corner wear on any of your bags-I have been using Tarrago shoe polish creams to touch up the bottom of my calf MG bags (the corners that seem to wear)-they work really well, and I've been able to match up a number of colors. I just touched up my navy bucket and it worked great.

I honestly think you could use either one-I alternate between my products-anything will work as long as you condition the leather. I also have a black/marina, and have used both these products and probably some others too, including Bick 4.

Thanks for the reply! Is it easy to apply? I've never used any before. I read somewhere that Chamberlain #1 streaks during application.

I'm getting my bag tomorrow (according to Fedex) and I'm terribly excited! Feels like I won't be able to sleep tonight.

Congratulations on your bag. That combination is one of my favorites!!
You might want to wear your bag a bit before you condition it. I generally do not condition them immediately.

I just wouldn't be too heavy handed, and make sure you rub it in well.
