It looks pretty bad too me. I guess it depends what the stains are, and how much the discoloration bothers you. The seller claims she "thinks" it is water? If it is oiled based, you will not get the stains out. I don't think it is a great bargain to be perfectly honest. Perhaps you should just save up a little more for a new bag?

Oh no, pity bag. You could try magic eraser on the stains.it will work. But make sure you condition it with leather conditioner after that magic eraser. Dare to try? Good luck [emoji106]🏻

I just got my hands on a brand new mini bucket in black/flamma from Incu (Sydney) on 1 March. They had a one-off sale with limited stocks. They retail for AUD 715 and I paid $644 (USD 460) after membership discount. It worked out even cheaper than the MG official website with the depreciating AUD. and I'm hoping to get another 10% GST back when I fly out this month. Back to the question, I have browsed through the entire topic but rarely see anybody talking about care for the interior leather. I agree that ImageUploadedByTapatalk1456964095.439602.jpgthe interior doesn't really need any treatment however I am bit nervous about the color transfer (as mine is flamma) onto other stuff I put into the bucket. I saw some comments about the leather milk loosens the excess dye of the exterior (i.e. color coming off during the treatment). That's why I am wondering if I should also apply leather milk to the flamma interior just to remove any excessive dye to prevent future color transfer? Or did anybody ever had any color transfer issue with flamma interior? Thanks in advance!

I have always paid alot less than the MG website price converted for us in Australia too but I have only bought through overseas sources that price them cheaper than the MG website.

That was a good price with discount but I generally find incu pricing high. Example I bought the mini bucket for like AUD$620 or $640 (forget now) from forward by elyse walker and I bought the regular lady bag for AUD$926 from NAP where as incu was charging $1295. Just depends on the store.

I have never treated the interior of any of the bags and haven't had any of the colour inside come off on anything.

Thanks Jaime. That's good to know! (: I think online shopping also depends on the exchange rate. I now find most of the branded stuff more expensive overseas than Australia.

It does depend on the exchange rate as to how good of a deal I can get but has always been cheaper outside Australia regardless in my experience. But I guess I only buy when I get a good price anyway. I'm not one to buy things at any price generally.

hi everyone:)

I've jus received my bucket bag, however I realised that the gold logo stamp is faded already before any use( a pic shown below as reference). Do you guys think if I should give up on the bag and have it returned? Since it's so sought after I'm not sure if I'll be able to get my hands on another one after returning this:(

do you guys think if the fading is acceptable and will it occur anyway over time?

Thanks a lot in advance!!

With my new Camello bag, should I:

1. Spray w protector before using it, use it, then condition when needed?

or

2. Condition first, then protect over that, then start using it...

How often are you all conditioning/protecting your bags?

Thanks!
s
I have a camello/antico mini bucket since last summer.
I use the conditioner first and then the protection. I use the Collonil Nanopro aerosol and it is indicated to make it in this order.
For the frequency, I do it when I have a scratch or after a big rain. 3 times for 6 months of daily carrying.
My bag darkens very well

I was wondering if anybody has tried the Coach moisturiser on their Mansur Gavriel?

http://malaysia.coach.com/disp/CSfGoodsPage_001.jsp?GOODS_NO=37733&DISP_NO=005003005007

This was noted under their Caution:

Not for use with water buffalo, suede, retro treated, nappa, vachetta, patent leather, hair calf, or fabric materials - please follow directions on bottle for usage and product compatibility

so I'm a lil' apprehensive to try but I live in Malaysia and I can't find the Apple conditioner or Bick's either. Many thanks in advance for any advice :)

P/S: I just bought the black/marina and am gonna buy a conditioner to apply before using the bag
