Yes. A soft cloth you can use to buffer it and rub it in and then use a paper towel to wipe away the excess. Apply in small amounts via your finger tips to small sections working your way around the whole bag :)
Thanks. I did try a bit on one of my old coach bags that had the light vachetta leather.

It did leave it a bit blotchy looking. Are you supposed to leave it on for a few minutes ?

I just rubbed it in. I then wiped it off with a paper towel, and buffed with a Microfiber cloth.

Oh no! My brandy bucket got wet shortly after I first got it. Leather cream all over the bag evened the spots left by the rain but also darkened it a bit which didn't bother me. If you decide to leather cream it, I recommend testing the leather cream on the bottom or wallet first to see if you like the darkening. Other people on the forum suggested to me that I wet the whole bag in the shower as that evened out their rain marks but I didn't try that.

Thanks! I'm going to treat my bag shortly. Will update. And errr no I don't see myself putting the whole bag into the shower... :nogood:

I would do a search in this thread for water stain-there are a number of suggestions and products that could help. If it is an oil stain, it may stand out, but I would try to condition/treat the entire bag in order to make the color more uniform. Let us know how it turns out.

Yes and mansur refuse to exchange it. They say is pass 48hr after the package is delivered. I got the bag as gift from my cousin from the state so of course it was not open right away.

I think they should be liable to if exchange it was delivered like that though I'm not sure why a purchaser even if it was a gift wouldn't check they received what they paid for when it arrived.

I'd try the suggestion above.

Update on my water stain situation. I sprayed two coats of Apple Garde last night, and the colour of my Brandy bucket is considerably more even now. Will follow up with the leather conditioner.

Thanks for the update. Did it smell bad?

The aerosol spray smelled while it was being sprayed, but there was no odour on the bag afterwards!

I was actually prepared for much worse but it's really not that bad a smell as long as you spray in a well-ventilated area. (preferably outdoors, but I live in an apartment so I just went out to the corridor and it was fine, the smell didn't linger or anything.) If you've ever used Spray Mount for craft projects, the smell was just a bit stronger than that.

Ok great! Thx

I am assuming you returned this because this is the exact bag I have been sent. The mark was in the exact same place. The leather is smoother and nicer than my first but it was clear it was a return as apart from that mark there are other signs of wear. I wish net a porter wouldn't sell for full price what others return in less than new/perfect condition. The tag isn't attached properly and so is most likely used and put back on to return in the time it had been with other buyers (not saying it was definitely you, could have been sold and returned by many until it got to me).
Anyway as for that mark I was able to get it out with leather conditioner. Completely gone. But I am still unsure about keeping it due to the condition I received it in and may just wait for the next release.
OMG! I bought my MG bucket at NAP too and it came with lots of 'irregularities'. When I contacted them about it, they said I could return it or exchange it, but since I bought it at the very first launch (yes, I glued myself to their sale updates) I was sure they couldn't exchange it. Simply because there was no stock. I decided to keep it. I wanted it so bad!

The leather is still very 'hard' and not smooth at all, has some scratches and ugly patches where the leather cracks. I really thought it was supposed to look like this, until three weeks ago a girl with a black bucket (mine is red inside) passed me in the streets and hers had become as soft as butter.:thinkin:

Still I'm happy with mine and recently used collonil on it, which helped a little, but not as good as when I use it on my other bags from Celine or Proenza. It is a bag with character I like to think and looking at it still gives me butterflies
