I have tried #1 and #3 on my brandy pouch and noted some slightly uneven darkening. but most blend in with time.. u may wanna try on the pouch or strap first :)

Thanks for the heads up! I'll try on the pouch first, though I've ordered the black/flamma so i might be safe. I am eyeing a cammello/rosa in either a mini or mini mini though...

I got caught in a passing shower with my untreated Brandy mini bucket yesterday and now it has water stains...

I'm honestly not overly bothered by the stains, but in any case I've already ordered a couple of Apple leather care products (the rain/water protectant and the leather conditioner) so that I can minimise any future staining. Just wondering if anyone has any experiences to share about how those have worked on MG leather that's already suffered a little? TIA!

There have been some posts about water stains and I believe success at getting rid of them. Maybe check through this thread? Search "water stain"?

I seem to recall people going over the entire bag with baby wipes - preferably natural ones like seventh generation- in order to even out the color, and then conditioning after that.

I did. Been fine. I don't actually like the finish of the camello as much in real life as photos. It kind of looks like the colour is painted on if that makes sense. Though from a distance and in photos I love it.

Yes they do look pristine in the photos on the website. But I think after it patinas a bit it will look great. I just hate the thought of my Golden puppy getting drool on it :)
I have to be careful about what I wear around him.

Oh no ! It is hard to get mad at them. I purposely keep my nice bags away on the higher cabinet just in case. My clothes have to be washable jeans and tee shirts around him too. When I do take him anywhere it is with a small cross body that's not expensive.

Oh no! My brandy bucket got wet shortly after I first got it. Leather cream all over the bag evened the spots left by the rain but also darkened it a bit which didn't bother me. If you decide to leather cream it, I recommend testing the leather cream on the bottom or wallet first to see if you like the darkening. Other people on the forum suggested to me that I wet the whole bag in the shower as that evened out their rain marks but I didn't try that.

Can you imagine showering with your bag? So funny:)
I did read that someone used baby wipes all over her bag after the rain and it took care of the water marks. It's at the first few pages of the care and maintenance thread.
