Ladies, I need your thoughts! Noticed that a little liquid stain appeared on my bag today.. is there any way to get it out or is no big deal as my bag gets more patina (patina'ed?). Surprisingly I was not as OCD about the stain because I expect the bag to gradually get darker and softer. Been using her about 2 week now. My phone on my camera isn't great, so the color is completely different in the two pics but I'd say the bag is closer to the full shot color right now.

Gorgeous! I have the same tote. If you want to help and accelerate the stain, you could try using some leather cream/conditioner on it. Also, it will definitely get darker and be the most stunning, rich congac color. Enjoy!

Hi, I got some peeled leather on my cammello after 2 weeks use. It is winter now so I guess the leather is too dry. Has anyone used Blackrock Leather 'N' Rich on Cammello? I saw some posts on black and brandy, but cannot find for cammello. Does it make the Cammello color darker? And does it leave some patches? Thanks!

Oh no! How did that happen?
I just ordered some chamberlains leather milk from amazon . Many people have reported its good.

Well I received my Brandy/Avion Lady Bag and I have been staring at it and trying it out at home- took it out for the first time and I really, really love it! LOVE!
I'm okay with the fact that it is veg-leather and will develop a patina over time but I still wanted to use some type of protector since I live in such a rainy climate. My only real concern is would it soften the leather? I love how stiff it is, and I think it adds to the overall structure of the bag. Any recs for a good product, or recs to skip product? thanks!!

Wow, that is so gorgeous! I love that color for the Lady bag. You must be so excited!!
I'm getting the Chamberlains leather milk to put on my Cammello, but I don't think it affects the softness or firmness.
Someone else will probably chime in here.
Enjoy!

Stunning! I'm surprised that the short handle stands up straight. It must be really quite stiff?

I used the Apple Care conditioner on black veg-tanned bucket and it didn't soften the leather at all. However, I did apply it very very sparingly. It seemed to cause some light streaking last night at parts where more conditioner were absorbed, but they have since disappeared. After the conditioning, I sprayed Apple Garde waterproofing spray quite liberally to prevent any water stains from setting in.

I have conditioned my brandy bucket each time it's got significant scratches or raindrops from regular use. It's definitely darkened from the conditioner and while still a structured bag, it had softened up over time. I think the softening is from regular use more than the conditioner though. I love the brandy colour as it darkens / patinas.

Is your Brandy with raw interior or a color ? I'm curious how the ones with raw interior soften up with time.

I would go with any of the suggestions given already, or just read through for some other product ideas. This thread is a wealth of knowledge. As far as softening up, this bag will remain pretty stiff. The color is just beautiful!!

Has anyone done anything to protect a light-coloured interior? I have a Black/Ballerina bucket coming, and I've never really dealt with an interior that was so light as well as non-canvas. Do you treat it, always use a purse organizer, or just leave it be?
