^^^ Hello there!
I like the Selfridges store, the staff are super freindly...I haven't had so much time to get a good look at the stock, but when I was in one time an SA did say they were moving stock from King St,and taking some back,I guess its all in a quite 'fluid' phase at the moment till they both have the required amount of stock?

I park in the cark park at the Arndale center, not quite as conveinent as the M+S one,but still close and pretty cheap too...........I can plan a quick walk round of Selfridges,Harvey Nicks and then onto St Annes Square and onto King St from that car park so its ok for me.

Good luck on the Kelly or Birkin,I really, really hope they can source one for you soon,I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!

And my fave items...............mmmmm,where to start?!!! I could start with a Rivale bracelt in taupe,Constance belt kit in black and etoupe,a shawl.....................aaaaaannd so it goes on lol!!!

Hello Chaz,

I follow the same shopping trail as you!! a triangle really!

yes the staff are soo friendly in selfridges, I made a purchase and one SA talked to me for an hour!!!! I couldnt get away!! not that i minded.....

really love the king st store though and also the staff know so much about all products

re shawls ; - i got my first shawl this week and love it - well love admiring it!! am actually looking fwd to cooler weather!!

do you go into manchester at night?? i go out for meals mainly but sometimes have a girly night out in living room/panacea

thanks for the friend request x

Another one here in the north west <<waves>>

You have a lovely collection of scarves hermeschicuk

I love shopping in Manchester but don't know my way around very well - I always park in Kendalls, cost me £20 the other day and I was only there a few hours.

Love the new H in Selfrdiges, so bright and lots of mirrors, although they are trying harder now in King St - better mirrors against the back wall, I'm sure they will sell more scarves that way - I used to have to squash myself into the corner behind the belts to see the scarves on me, lol. Hope they get some more stock in Selfridges soon, I'm hanging on for the new winter shawls.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm going to have to be brave and tackle the city centre next time, the cost at Kendals is a joke. Mind you, the Arndale centre requires some courage :D but I will definitely have a go at finding the M&S one.

The Arndale one used to be a bit hairy for me when I had my Saab, now I have a Mini its not so bad...the M+S one sounds good,I may try that one out next time I'm in the center, see how the pricing compares to the Arndale..it actually sounds cheaper!!

Thats horrible! You really wouldn't think it would happen in there, its a very busy car park.

Mmmm, must get along to King St,have a look at the shawls...I would love another but I really have no idea which one or what c/w yet.

Hi chaz,

the breaking in cars at kendalls is a regular occurance sadly - i came back to see glass everywhere allover seats etc, my husbands car has been broken into years b4 that (he hadnt told me of the prob!) and some friends have too - isnt it sad that these things happen. dont think they liked my taste in music because they left my cds lol!!

Lol, even though I am not from Manchester, just wanted to say, your blog looks great Hermeschickuk! Chaz came to the last h meet in London (so did the wonderful bethc and lovely kat), it was really cool, some of us ended up (thanks to Annanas) in home house which was a great chance to catch our breaths!Lol!
