Those are the timescales they mentioned, I am sure that once the store is empty the refurb will be quite quick.

And we will have two lots of stock to browse As they will be limited to the amount of stock they will be able to display in Selfridges as it is quite small

If there are to be no trumpets, angels, horses and champagne on the opening day then, yes, let's wait until both are open. Hopefully, King St will have a lovely new inventory to lust after. If the 1st June was mooted, perhaps the 2nd or 3rd week in June might be a possibility?

I am hoping so, apparantly they have bought lots of items in bright colours for the Selfridges store to attract the younger market, I guess King Street will stay with the usual more sedate items.

I am looking forward to Selfridges opening to be honest ,as I have been nagging them for months to get more brightly coloured SLG, which I think would go down a storm -that small pop of colour inside a safer coloured bag

Having said that there was an orange kelly in the window this week when I went in and a shoulder kelly and shoulder birkin, however in more sedate colours of chocolate and terre.

I will be going in again before the end of the month, so I will update if I hear anymore news. Otherwise I think we should wait until both stores are up and running and then organise a meetup

So the new H is about to open in Manchester Selfridges, Exchange Square - 1st June.

Is anyone planning a visit?

Do you know what they will be selling? Just accessories or bags as well?

Does anyone know if they will be selling new AW scarves from 1st June (I note that there is now a VERY small selection of new scarves on the UK H site)?

Any one have any info to share?

I agree with you allabout nice, I was hoping they would go to the Trafford Centre as it is a pain to park in Manchester as well as the cost. Maybe we could suggest they open at TC as well

...

I always park in the car park by Victoria train station (behind the G mex). Its only 5 mins walk to Selfridges past the Urbis and it's £4 to park all day. Bargain!

I know some of the a/w scarves are starting to trickle into stores, But I shouldn't imagine that they have the whole range before the other London stores. I remember when Selfridges London H opened and they are usually well stocked with all the enamels/ bracelets and current season H scarves. Love to hear everyone reporting back on what they see. Wasn't there going to be a Manchester tpf meet??
