I think it depends on your local store and best to ask those clients. In my store I believe it is a factor since they want to grant 1 wish so if you want a picotin then that is your wish.
Great point! It’s definitely not my wish, just a bag I always loved and assumed it would also help my profile (but maybe not!). What store are you if you don’t mind me asking?

Toronto, Canada.

Right now during recent travels i have seen more stores tell customers before waiting for sas no bags so assume it may not help your profile unless you are selecting a bag not in demand.

I know/hears the Constance is a bit harder to get. My gf walked into a Hermes yesterday and left with a Pitocin18, (they had two classic colors in stock), so maybe it depends on the bag? Tbh I have no clue haha.
My SA is truthful to me. He tells me to space out my purchases with him which I truly appreciate. So I guess, if he tells me that I have to just focus on getting a b or a k instead of the other Hermes bags, It means I have to pre-spend on non-leather items or maybe he only really grants one bag a year, whether it is a quota bag or non.

I am curious if he gives you a time frame to space (every month, two months etc). I am debating this myself as I have a big purchase I want to make at some point but I am not eligible for more bags this year so I was planning to wait for a while. My store isn't doing appointments right now and that makes it easier to space it anyway.

Since I just got my quota bag this year, he kind of mentioned that the next bag offer might happen sometime next year. I would probably go again on my bday this November but after that, I will have to wait until beginning of next year.

I had a quick question, how often do you guys visit the boutique and meet with your SA. And how often do you purchase items? For example do you purchase something everytime you visit?
I have been an Hermes fan for 9 years and shopping with my SA for 8. I only visit the boutique when my SA calls to invite me to a function. He always encourages me to bring my teen and adult daughters because they are also Hermes Superfans. He reserves a minimum of 2 hours for me but I always go over and I always buy something. I never ask for a bag at any of my visits and have never had a wishlist. I have been very fortunate with the offers and when I told him I was at purse peace, the offers were actually MORE generous. With the recent delicious offers, I could not refuse and doubt I will ever be at purse peace.

Just wanted to get some thoughts on where I stand with my SA from all the experienced people here in the thread!

Quick background:
  • Have been shopping at my local store with the same SA for about over a year
  • I have bought leather and non-leather goods from her in that time frame
  • I had never brought up quota bags or wishlists before
I mentioned starting a wishlist on my latest visit and she took down all the notes of what I wanted (type of QB, colors, types of leather, hardware, etc.) , but didn't put in a range of sizes and instead just put me down for one specific size on the QB I wanted. In other words, I said I would love a B25 or B30, but she specifically put me down for a B25 based on what she was noting down.

So I wanted to ask... is that normal? Does this mean anything? (either positive or negative)?

Thanks! I sort of had a feeling this could happen why I hesitated. Such a shame as this particular bag may be much easier to get! If I wait for my QB offer, does it make sense to ask for the Pito after? I’m on no rush, I just have no idea what to do/not to do and my SA isn’t as open/upfront with me unfortunately.

How often do you shop with him when spacing out purchases (1x a mo?), and what sorts of things do you buy to build your profile? I’ve been with my SA for a little over a year - I try to go in when I can but also buy things I love love. Just want to make sure I’m doing everything right as I already have 2-3 exchanges on my profile which I assume does not help :/ (was gifting others and they exchanged)

I usually drop by to see my SA once a month...I want to purchase something each visit but sometimes the stuff just didnt arrive and I have left the store empty handed more times than with a purchase....but my SA understands and feels bad too...but I love to drop in just to say Hi sometimes as he's been very busy and it's just easier to talk face to face even for 5 min....he prefers me to buy stuff that I like and discourage me if I point to something and ask for his thoughts...coz he knows my style and would suggest stuff I will like and will get excited about...And also just to see what new things are in store...

I know I saw my question explained on a thread some where I just don’t remember where. Hopefully this is not OT. What does it mean when the SA says they will put in an order for one of the bags you put on your wishlist? Is that just more “talk” that they tell clients or is there a real order being placed? If it’s really an order how does it work?

Lol I read this thread but thanks.

Eta: for whatever reason this took me to post one from my phone. However, when clicking on the link from my computer it took me to your post. I apologize and thanks again. It’s post #6706 for those that don’t see it.

Hi all-
Am wondering if any folks have experience with their SAs sourcing non quota bags from other stores? I’m interested in a Victoria 43 for travel and not sure whether I’d need to order thru podium or if it’s something my SA would be open to doing…I don’t think the bag is in super high demand but appreciate any experience others may have

I would just ask your SA about it. Yes, it’s not a high demand bag but it’s still a bag that whatever store has one (if any do) spent a good amount from their podium bag budget to order so they likely won’t want to transfer it out to another store. Your SA will be able to tell you if they think it’s possible to get for you at all and how long it might take.
