Don’t worry for them. Smaller stores compensated by having better service as there is less foot traffic. Smaller space means they ask customers to order stuff that takes months and years to come.

With so much info going around, smaller stores get busier once people hear good things and then it all evens out.

The most important is how well a customer hit off with the SA. No matter big or small the store is. Good stuff will come the customer’s way. But in Asia, the profile needs to be pretty in the SM’s sight. So, if there is a good relationship, the SA will help to make it pretty.
Just wondering, what profile is considered pretty?

Buying across categories. On top of that, to be a super awesome customer, you may follow what others are buying globally by taking reference from Hermes financial report where they have revenue information by sector.

If you don’t care about getting quota bags and what specs of quota bag you get offered and just want to buy what you love, please ignore the above.

Fun fact: Sales from Asia had crossed the 50% mark of global sales.

thank you for the article... This quote here says it all
" all businesses confirmed strong momentum and benefitted from the acceleration of the Ready-to-Wear and Accessories division, Watches and Other Hermès Business Lines (Jewellery and Homeware) "

There you go.

Another fun fact: In Greater China (top contributor of sales in Asia, if not globally), those 3 categories are exclusive to getting the quota bag a customer wants.

Numerous Greater China customers had mentioned on social media that getting very very popular quota bags, a large percentage of pre spendings had gone to menswear.

Asia is super competitive.. and super spending economy over there.
Personal note - I love H RTW, I would've never started buy without hoping to get quota bag. H RTW prices are "affordable" compared to Dior, which I also love.

Hello, I am going to Hermes San Francisco next week, and I am looking for SA phone number, and the SA name is Soizic. Do you guys know her?
I think it would be very unlikely if someone did have this SA for them to share the contact because it seems for whatever reason the SA did not feel compelled to give you their number. Wouldn’t you rather shop with someone who volunteers their number and would be happy to be your long term SA? You could call the store number and ask for them but I personally wouldn’t. The relationship would then be forced. There are tons of these kinds of stories where people are frustrated that the SA doesn’t even remember them after several trips. If you’re worried about lost prespend i think if it was under 2k it wouldn’t have mattered in your prespend that much anyway especially in a low significance category (leather goods, silks, shoes, small homewares, costume jewelry). This is assuming you’re after a quota bag of course.

Please don't be offended, but this is interesting how we make assumptions.
I made the same, then thought:

anniekieu never stated that she (an assumption) had ever shopped with Soizic
she might have just heard her name and was phishing
it might be her first time at SF

so often new posters only give part of the story and the full details gradually get revealed

This is a highly presumptive question. We do not give contacts out on a public forum.

Knowing an SA's name means nothing. If s/he's not your SA already, then having her/his contact details makes no difference at best, you certainly won't make anyone's day.

If an SA hasn't already personally given out that info, presume they don't want to, s/he will NOT want you ringing them, or even emailing. Most stores use a mix of emails now and WhatsApp, they may call you, but I've never heard of SA answering their phones to clients.

Ring the usual H number, let them know what you want/after and they can contact the specific SA.

Hi dear! I don’t think it’s common practice for us to share SA info. I see you are a new member. I think it would be wise and helpful if you call customer service or the SF store you’re planning to visit and ask them for an appointment with that specific SA. Keep in mind that they might route you to a different SA. Not sure how familiar you are with H dynamics but it’s best if you set the appointment, go to tye store, gauge the connection and see if the SA will take you as a client. They are not likely to respond to a text from someone who is not a client yet so that will not help you position yourself well from the get go. My two cents. Good luck and enjoy your experience.

What's you experience in working towards your second/next QB offer? I've just picked up my first K25, is it too soon to bring up my preferences for my next bag? Is my first wish still standing or should I put a new wish down?

I think I've taken the biggest hurdle but I'm not sure how to proceed from here. My SA ordered a couple of items (avalon pillows, rodeo, tableware) for me so I'm planning to visit him regularly. I'm in for the long haul and not just only for the QB's . TIA!

IMO it cannot hurt to start by just talking to your SA about the direction of your bag collection and where you want to go from here :)

Once you get your first QB, it's usually a great sign that there's more QB to come as long as you continue to foster the relationship and build on your profile (which it sounds like you certainly are).

I think it's okay to give it a couple months before bringing up your next QB while you enjoy your k25. I'm unsure which country you're in but some countries only allow 1 QB/year (others still allow 2QB/year) so you have time to think before telling your SA what bags you'd like next.

I also think it's wise not to overwhelm your SA with many bags you like and focus on the top 1-3 that you want in the immediate term... and pick options which you know are in production currently/imminently so you have the highest chance of success.

Happy shopping.

I don’t know where you are, but if I were u I will speak about it as soon as my spending is 1:1 or past it. Directly or indirectly.

Does anyone else here feel that one-shot, expensive purchases are much more effective for getting offers than smaller purchases spread out over a longer period of time? In my experience, I will get one or several offers almost immediately after springing for, say, a leather coat or fine jewelry with diamonds, but my SA will be slower to offer something if I spend roughly the same amount on more incremental purchases like shoes or lower-priced RTW. Not sure if I'm getting "played" or if this is the new H way during these stock shortages. (FYI, I'm based in the US.)
