Since starting with H I've developed a habit of touring local H boutiques when I go out of the country, sometimes if small things catch my eye I'll buy it as a souvenir of sorts, and when I'm back home my SA and I will chat about it when she asks about my vacation, so she knows I visit boutiques in other countries and buys small things, and seems fine with me doing it. If anything, she's pretty curious about how stores in other countries are different from her store.
I’ve been doing this for years, store inventories can be so different. I find it extremely fun!

Me too, it is a great opportunity to view what H has to offer. I have always met kind SAs taking the time to show me around their store and chat. Usually picking up a small souvenir but saving the larger spending for my home store.

not sure if this is the right thread to ask, so everybody please direct me to the appropriate thread if this is not the place.

does anyone know if the invoice that comes with H.com orders is different when the SA places the order for me at the store vs. I place it online myself? I just received an order that my SA placed for me on H.com but I was getting shipping notifications from H.com directly (hasn't happened with previous SA placed online orders), and my invoice that came in the package shows the order was placed by me, my SA's info is nowhere to be found on it. Does this mean my SA is not getting credit for this sale/this order isn't going to be included in my profile?

I recently asked my SA to place an order for me on items I saw on H.com.

For the invoice, it’s under my name and before the product listing, it says “charge send deposit”. Her name doesn’t appear anywhere on the actual invoice. It does show my store location though (San Francisco). I do recall when she sent me the payment link it had her name on it so I assumed she’d get credit. She’s also listed as a “reference” on the FedEx shipping label. My shipping updates have been coming from the “Hermes Customer Service” email address.

Does your invoice have your SA’s store location listed at least?

When I order from Hermes.com on my own it doesn’t say “charge send deposit” or the SF store location naturally. Hope this helps!

I'm not in USA. I am unsure if Hermes uses the same system globally, but I am going to assume they do.

When an SA is serious about noting a request, they make a note under your account on their iphone. Any other SA that opens your account up can see what's been noted and which SA made that note. Therefore, if you wish to return to your SA in MP, she will see that the SA in Greenwich made a note for KTG on your account.

If your MP SA secured a mini evelyne for you in the summer, then she sounds quite good because all the mini bags have a certain level of demand. However, if this an ongoing relationship or just a one-off?

KTG is quite an 'in-demand' bag and seems to be offered either to existing good clients, or offered to newer clients who have accumulated some spend. It would be quite unusual for the Greenwich SA to reach out to you when a KTG arrives purely off the back of you visiting her at the store once to ask for one.
The MP SA was a one off, I called the store and asked if they had the mini bag, and she did the transaction in person. I actually met the SA in Greenwich the same way, by calling and asking to see if they had a mini Evelyn (I wanted another one in a different color) . Since buying the bag from her (Greenwich SA), I also bought a pair of shoes. She took down my wish list items on her iPhone as well during my first apt. I planned on going back to the Greenwich SA in April and again in May.
From that, I’d say the MP SA was more of a one-off. At that point I wasn’t looking for anything more than the mini Evelyn, and her store was the only one that had stock. I wasn’t planning on visiting her again because I didn’t want anything else.

I am not sure if it’s gonna help you or not, but my SA in Singapore told me if I clock into my profile bags from other stores, it doesn’t matter. It was once upon a time, not so long ago, that I could still get a picotin as a walk in. But it was shortly after I started buying from my SA. She said Coz bags doesn’t count towards building the purchase history for a QB. But for other items, I should get from her. For small items which it is hard to get in the store, she advised me to get from the online store directly.

If you are in the US, I think bags or even a KTG do carry commission for the SA. However, the SA may not even be able to offer you one as they are so popular. Hence, I don’t think there is any issue if you managed to get from other stores. Nonetheless, should they see you ask for such popular items in different stores, they may also see a red flag with reseller suspicion.

edit: my SA was not able to offer me the picotin In the specs I wanted.

Understood, thank you for your insight.

For those who shop at more than 1 store how do you manage? Do you have wishlists at both stores? What if one store has more stock but the other has offered a quota bag (After I pretty much gave up and went to the other store haha). Of course they can see your history and now there may only be one QB per year but I do have exotics and non-QB in my wishlist along with lots of non-bag items.

Some more context: the first store SA that has offered the QB, bless their heart I feel may not have the bandwidth and stock availability to get all the items I ask for, and I don’t know if I have the energy for another round of QB-aiming kind of buying in that environment if you get what I mean. But then again the evidence is this store has offered me a QB. The second store I entered casually just to look and was approached by an SA who I bought from and they very enthusiastically gave me their contact and sounds like they are ready to help, but their actual ability to source is yet unproven (I have not requested anything yet) but the store is much bigger with more stock. Thanks for the advice.

I used to shop Wall St (more fun) and Madison Ave (neighborhood store) from 2008-2012. My spend at both was not too large but it was regular (Probably the equivalent of 1-2 CSGM monthly and a non quota bag once (or twice) a year. Eventually, I decided to go with Wall St bc I clicked personally with my Wall St SA, and I got a Birkin of my choice there (I asked for certain specs which took 3 weeks to materialize). I don’t maintain a wish list but only want SAs who really understand my taste, and it has alwAys worked out.

those members who maintain long standing successful relationships with multiple boutiques seem to do so in a very organic, natural way ( without regard to building wish lists in both etc etc). If you have homes in various parts of the world, and/or you have a long standing history due to your travels, this makes total sense. If you started these relationships years ago, there seems to be a grandfathering system of sorts too.

nowadays, bc of stock shortages, and increased demand/competition for items, most members find it best to maintain one relationship. having said that, my home SA doesn’t have an issue with me starting a relationship at FSH for RTW shopping, but my home spend is at least 3X, probably much more if I were to really add it up; my main priority is not QB at this point; and my home SA does NOT specialize in RTW. In todays retail climate, I would not shop with other boutiques in my home country, let alone my home city, but that is my own preference. (I am also pretty exclusive with respect to dior, chanel, brunello etc.

i would note if you want specialty items that may require extra work and transfers, wouldnt you want to course those requests through one SA with whom you have the best rapport.

Just get someone who is convenient (e.g. significant other, mother, sister, etc.) to open a profile and shop at the bigger store, at your own pace if u r not in a hurry.

Each store has their own policies and different stocks. Each SA also has their own strengths. Pretty much enjoying shopping at different stores and what they have to offer. Although putting altogether into 1 profile probably makes the purchase history more impressive.

Hello, when my SA mentioned to me my desired QB was arriving 2 months ago, it took the QB at least 4 weeks to arrive.
I think the SA's usually mention to client about certain QB's arrival, only if they are certain they can offer the client the QB.
Maybe you can remind your SA gently if you can still get your desired gray B25 with rghw, and how long it may take it to arrive.
And, be a bit patient and don't worry too much, and see what happens.

Since you are getting offers from your SA, she/he is definitely looking out for you.

You were right! I received my b25 with RGHW!! It’s not Etain but I love it more :yahoo:
