Hello ladies would like to hear some advice.

I met a lovely SA in Dubai and she was so kind and inviting. I purchased a Lindy from her on my first visit although I already had some history.
I asked For her name and if I want future appointment so she gave me the general WhatsApp number for the store. I’ve taken appointments with her and twice visited only walk in. However if I ever want to reach her I can’t, I tell the “WhatsApp number” please can you ask her to give me a call. And no response?

To be honest, I am somewhat new to this , it’s been almost a year that I’m seeing her. I’m not sure what to make of it.
I’ve previously had other SA in the other branch share their number on the first visit, that’s why I am wondering if maybe she is not very interested in our relationship although she is kind and helpful when I do see her. Any thoughts ?

Hi. I don’t know if this the right thread to ask. When your store get an item transfer from other store (same country)for you, do they still make a sale? I just want to know is it still helping them make a sale? Thanks
I can't remember if you had your question answered... But I asked my SA this today and the answer is yes! Both ordering from online with your SA and transferring items from other stores to your SA will benefit your SA :amuse: My SA actually appreciated that I asked that question too.

Sometimes it takes a few visits before the SA will give her number. I have not been to Dubai, but can imagine it is the land of big spenders. The next time you see her, just ask her directly if she would like you to see and text her for all of your appointments, or if you should make appointments with other SAs. If she doesn’t offer her card, it’s time to find another SA.

I did text my SA about the time I will drop by and it was confirmed though, I assumed that served as an appointment. I see re wait time, maybe I shouldve waited longer but would have been 30-40 mins and I couldn't stay too long

This situation is not your problem. Your SA had an appointment with you. She should have excused herself briefly, walked over to you told you she was running late and either okayed that with you or made another appointment if she wanted the sale. She could have offered you a refreshment while you waited as well. Her other option, which she chose, is to send over another SA to help you. Also okay. How those two work out the commission is not your concern. You did everything right, so don’t worry about it. Just carry on in your usual pleasant, dignified way when you see her next and all will be well.

Edit: One thing you could do in the future to eliminate any confusion is make your appointment a few days in advance, and let your SA know at that time which items you will be looking for. That way it will seem less like a “Hey I’m dropping by” text and more like a formal appointment.

Thank you, she did come say hi when she saw me and then said she is kinda floating around and got busy and disappeared with other clients. When she was away with the clients, I was just sitting and this other SA came and asked if I needed help and that’s when I said I was waiting for her but then she called her to say I was waiting and then came back to help with what I want so I assumed my SA was busy and asked her to help or sth. I guess I should’ve waited longer but that would’ve been like a 40 min wait which I wasn’t prepared for. I am just concerned my SA will not be happy about the fact I shopped with a new SA and not waited for her but when she saw me again she said sorry though so I assumed she was fine with it but I felt bad. But yes I will make formal appointments moving forward, thank you for your kind advice

Maybe I missed something here…
Regarding of your appointment…
I just re-read the whole things again because to me, it didn’t make sense.

When you texted your SA saying that you’re dropping by and she confirmed. Did you get a separate text or email to confirm your “appointment”?

Because that “confirmed appointment” is the reserved time slot for you to see your SA. I mean at least that’s always the case for me. Whenever I text my SA telling her that I’m coming in, she will confirm it and then I will get either separate “formal text or email” of my appointment. And when I go in for my appointment, most of the time either my SA is wrapping up with other client or doing something. I’ve never waited more than 10 mins.

Agreed. This just doesn’t make a lot of sense.

OP: it doesn’t sound like you had an appointment. In order to make that clear next time, text “Dear SA I would like to reserve an hour appointment with you on XX date to see XX product. Would you confirm what time works for you. Thank you!”.

The only time I don’t do this is if I’m purchasing an item less than $1000 that I ALSO don’t need to try on (like perfume or certain silks). Even then, I will write and say “can you meet me at XX:XX so that I can pick up XXXX. If not, feel free to send through another time and I’ll confirm.”. You remove the guesswork.

I’m sorry it was such a confusing experience for you though!

Totally!! I’m so sorry for the inconvenience and confusion that you had gone through. At least you got items that you wanted so that’s always a plus side.
And @Crapples I make sure that I get “confirmed appointment” with my SA even if I spend couple hundreds lol   Just because every $$ (exceptQB) means something for her and I know how hard she works for it. My DH refused even to buy anything online. He wants to give every single sale to my SA. And my SA knows and appreciate it so much because of that.:panic::lol:

Oh I see, I did not get that confirmation as before when I say I would stop by a certain time my SA would say that time
works or not work for her but now I know that it is important to get this formal appointment. Thanks again!

This is the way to do it. I don’t expect my SA to reserve an hour (or even a half hour) for an errant one off small purchase, but I make sure they have time to pull the item and ring me up so they get credit. If OP takes a few simple steps they will be able to as well. I do think their SA should have been a bit more forthcoming but they may have been overwhelmed with a busy schedule.
