What does it mean if your SA mentions that xyz bag was part of a "buy" and would you be interested?

Is the buy upcoming? If so they may be talking about a podium order for you. What that means is when your SM next goes to podium to place orders for the upcoming season for their store (bags and everything else) among their buys will be this xyz bag and it will be specifically for you when it arrives at your store. We have a podium thread here.

Agree. A “buy” would not be used to describe a push item as, by definition, push offers are not ordered (or “bought”) at podium. This is likely a bag ordered at the February (or earlier) podium event that they see on an upcoming delivery sheet and would like to know if OP is interested. Congrats, @lilmermaid264 cant wait to see what you get!

Hello, apologies in advance if this has already been asked before. Does anyone have any experience or tips for switching to a different SA within the same boutique? What is the more proper way to handle such delicate situation? Also, when switching SAs, will one need to restart the queue for a quota bag?

Long story short, I have been shopping with my SA exclusively for about 10 months now, with a well-rounded purchase history from twillies to fine jewelry and mto mens suit. Aside from still not being offered any quota bags, I find it more troublesome that my SA isn't the most on top of things a lot of times. For instance, I have been trying to schedule an appt with him/her for the past two days, and I still haven't succeeded even if I responded literally the minute s/he texted me and additional follow-up after several hours in between. My SA is great in person, and I've always enjoyed shopping with him/her. But some times I do wonder if my wishlists are being neglected and most importantly it bothers me that I simply couldn't reach him/her to spend more

Unfortunately this is the only boutique near me, and I really prefer to shop in person for Hermes products. I like being in stores and building relationship with SAs. And the last thing I want to do is cause any unnecessary awkwardness between SAs due to the switch...

Any advice or recommendation is much appreciated, thank you very much in advance!

why is your SA of indeterminate gender?

with regard to your question, forget it is Hermes and just behave as if you were shopping somewhere else.

Oh sorry about that lol. Our boutique is small so I feel like revealing the gender may be very easy to guess who I shop with... My goal is not to bad mouth anyone...

To your suggestion, I'd be shopping remotely from another state... But is shopping remotely easy for Hermes? We visit Vegas every few months, but is it possible to order and pay remotely through Hermes SAs?

Thank you very much for your response!

Got it! I still haven't successfully secured an appointment yet... But I will ask next time I am in.
I’m not sure if this could be the reason but you could definitely ask what is the difficulty and how best to work with your SA.

They generally are quite frank to me with their working conditions when I seek to understand.

One of them resigned recently. She could not plan her life when duty roster is released at the 11th hour.

That is exactly what I did, but over the text. I'll ask mine when I'm in store once I get an appointment slot lol  Otherwise, it just means I'm not a big enough spender for my SA to respond to...
But either way thank you for your suggestion
