Oh wow, good to know! My SA has days off and things are fast to go on the site so after a couple of times of them telling me buy it on the site, I stopped asking unless it's a bigger purchase. I figured it was such a hassle to check store supply and do charge send etc so I stopped asking for small things.



Seems so unfair though... it's hard to know what something looks like online. :sad:

You’re “cheating” on your store by shopping elsewhere (on the website).
Hmmm Okies. My SA was telling me to get things I like on the website coz there is limited stock in store.

Anyway, I was glad I took photo of the rodeo which has a great colour difference than the pic online. So I returned. I sent the photo to her for her inspection. Lol. Subsequently, I managed to get a rodeo Pegasus online and she asked me a few times how I managed to get it.

I’m like I swear though I have never bought anything like RTW and I’ve NEVER bought at another store ! (Then I’m like why at my age am I having this conversation — I’m married w 3 kids ..)
I would've felt totally busted too. Lol. I understand how you felt about the smaller items, and used to think the same but my SA has been great about sourcing things. And if it's something smaller I usually ask her to order it (if they don't have it) when I'm there to make a larger purchase and have it just shipped to me. But I hear you, we have to manage relationships with spouses, kids, friends, co-workers and SA's on top of that?!? Good grief.... :biggrin:
 
Well, they’re measured by their sales. SA’s get commissions off of all sales other than a couple bags, and sales supervisors and managers carry a quota/commission structure of everything sold in a boutique, so the comments about buying online may be kidding/not kidding sort of jokes.
So far I only purchased bags, rodeo pegase and a twilly online. She was off duty deep. during COVID when I saw that twilly online. I didn’t think there was any impact since it’s so hard to get store offers for bags and rodeo pegase.

But she seemed concerned. Lol.
 
Last time I was at the store - I saw she was SO busy and I felt bad asking for her to source small things .. but now I will not !
but how do they know I’m buying on line unless they look ?
When they pull up your profile its clear as day, even if it’s just to process the sale of an item in store. Every item purchased and from which location displays. If the dress you were asking for was in limited supply and the SM needed to throw her weight around to source it for you, they are less happy to do so when they see you’ve “been disloyal”
 
I wouldn’t worry about it. I just make a point of asking my SAs to order online items from their kiosk in the store so that they can get the commission. They have to deal with so many entitled customers that I think that they appreciate it when someone looks out for them a little.
Interestingly, not all H stores have this kiosk. My SA insists to this day that they cannot order or otherwise touch any h.com stock whatsoever. If it’s not available in my store or another physical boutique in the USA, I’m out of luck, even in person and even if there are 50 of them available online.

And that profile matters a good amount.
 
My SA can request for transfers from the online store to my physical store. Which resulted in a direct rejection from the online store. Until 2 months later, they decided to stick my name to the box. WTH.
