I am new to H Journe, met a nice SA in Hawaii during the recent trip. Should I continue to purchase from her to try to go to my local store and build relationships with a local SA? I don’t think Hawaii store could ship bags now….but I want to build history to a quota bag. Appreciate your feedbacks.
It will depend on if you are ok with flying there to pick up a bag. Also, depends on where your local store is. Some stores in the mainland may have a higher spending ratio to get a b or k offer so that’s why there are people who are willing to have Hawaii as their home store. Where is your local store?

in Denver, how do I find out the spending ratio? thanks so much for replying.

There’s not really an exact spend ratio at each store haha there are just some stores that are known for higher ratio like south coast plaza and Palo Alto. I am not sure if there’s a dedicated tpf thread for Hermes Denver. That store may not have great inventory like Hawaii but you can always go to the Denver store and see if you can find a good SA and go from there. Good luck!

We have several tpf members from around the country who specifically shop long distance to Denver due to its good service. Hawaii is great but they most likely won’t ship bags or SLGs and it seems most stores are currently only offering coveted stuff (bags, rodeos, hot twillies, etc) when clients are in person, as opposed to years prior where SAs would call favored clients out of the blue with offers. Id at least give your local store a try before deciding.

I’m wondering, what is the ratio spending at the H South Cost Plaza? I’m shopping there now and hoping to get a quota bag soon. Is H SCP ratio higher or lower than H Beverly Hills? Thanks!

Am I perhaps one of the only people who doesn’t have a regular SA?

I shop at two different stores and think I’ve had great success with just being pleasant and very specifically detailing what I am wanting each visit. I’ve purchased jewelry, scarves/shawls+++, footwear, clothing, home items, mens accessories, SLGs and handbags. And yes I’ve been offered a Birkin twice. The first one I passed on (it was a color I did not like) and the second Birkin I was offered, came home with me. I’ve also purchased two Kelly’s.

I’m a pretty laid back person and never go in to the shop with the idea I’m desperate for an item.

I know most of the SAs by name and most of them know me and greet me when I arrive.

I’m not sure that purchase history is as important as some state. The first Birkin offered to me was some years ago during my second visit to store and I had only purchased one small item prior at that time.

Despite my positive experiences, I do wish Hermes would issue a statement identifying what makes/breaks someone being offered their a Birkin or Kelly.

Unfortunately, there's no set spend ratio at SCP nor do I see a trend of how much is spent before being offered. I have a friend who claims she spent 1:1 for a B25 (I use the word "claims" because I think she forgot about some of her purchases that would push her over the 1:1 threshold :graucho:) and I have another friend who spent 3:1 for a B30. Both have different SAs and both and took home the same color quota bag. Both did not get the color they had wanted on their wishlist...not even close. The B25 friend waited about 8 months since her last offer and the B30 friend waited 3 months and this was her first offer. These offers were made in the last month or so. I do want to add that the B25 friend is pregnant and I wonder if that's how she was able to get a bag with a lower spend.

Has anyone ordered something from the H.com website for collection at their local boutique? If so, did the purchase count in your store profile (towards quota bags)? Or are online purchases excluded from the store profile even if they are delivered to the store for collection? I'm asking because there are certain items I'd like to buy but they are only available on the website and the SA is unable to place an order for me, so my only option would be to order online for store collection.

My store can place online orders when they are physically in store with them.

I dont think the ship & collect will count. M logic is that the system may tie that sale at the store level and prob wont able tie that sale to the particular SA. But this is just pure speculation I could be wrong.

No it will not help. The sales that help the most are the ones which take items from your store’s personal inventory. The sales that still help but less so are the ones that your SA at least physically facilitates (charge sends from other store’s inventory or the website). Sales that don’t help you whatsoever at store X are sales you facilitate yourself from any non X store, including the website.

Yeh, this is the problem with SCP that stock seems to be pretty limited in colors variety. My SA said that B Sellier was seen only twice in their boutique. Really? Only twice since production started? I was fooled or they have really bad stock.

I do think the online purchases will show up on your profile but I don't think it would count towards the quota...

There’s never any formula about spending ratio so all these are just observations from what people have shared on social media. I have heard people getting offer at SCP with less spending and some have spent more than 1:1. It all depends on your SA/SM and what’s on your wishlist. Good luck!

Exactly… i think all the intel here just to guide on how to get a quota bag and maintain relationship, esp on spend threshold. It has so many variables in each situation. It’s like predicting the weather
