Subsequently, she got a mini Lindy in noir ghw and a Evelyne TPM (and yes, I went with her that second time too and eye witnessed that too). She got a 3rd offer of a hard to get item - a Kelly wallet to go in noir shw. That was the summer of 2020. I have heard friends of friends scored B30 or K28 too around that time. And another friend of mine actually got a B25 in the new color Bronze Dore also without major purchase history. It's true. But no more like that the recent couple of months, well, at least I haven't heard that anymore from my friends or friends of friends ...... It was likely due to pandemic, there were more stocks piled up after months of closure but now that the stores can open with restrictions, history isn't going to repeat itself.

I agree with many others who have posted this - buy only what you like and enjoy the brand. It's a journey one should enjoy and ultimately the quota bags would come.

Which store was that? . Wow... I decided to switch SA because I have spent over 1:1 and never got a hint of an offer. And I only spend on fine jewelry. She has been with H for over 20 years so she might have bigger fish to fry. Annoying because I feel I wasted my time. So disappointed!!!!! If I start with a new SA, do I have to reset the spending to 0? Or do they take your spending history into consideration when you start a fresh relationship? Thank you ladies?

Hi peeps, I’ve been shopping with my SA for a year now since I first started my H journey in my store. My SA knows I would like to be offered a Birkin for my first bag. Since last year, she keeps saying she would like to offer me a bag but she has nothing to offer because the stock is low.

I visited her again last month to say hi and I bought some few things with her and she said the same thing, she wants to offer me a bag but waiting for shipment to come in. She knows I have several quota bags that I purchased in Europe and she said she does not want to offer me something thats not nice because I already have a decent collections. I’ve spent 1:1 with her now, what should I do? Should I keep buying or should I just wait for her to tell me she has something to offer? Thanks!!

Your spending history won't be lost because the store manager will look at your purchase history before agreeing to offer you your desired bag. To build up a relationship with your new SA you might have to purchase a few smaller items before checking up on your existing wish list.

I looked at some of your previous posts, I'm assuming here that you are talking about moving your store relationship to a store that you now live closer to. If not, and you literally just moved a few months ago and are just buying a couple of items, in a single category from your new store relationship - I would give it a bit more time, keep visiting the store and purchasing across the store. If you are starting a relationship w/ your new local store vs. staying in same home store w/ new SA - not sure myself on the purchase history as I've never had this particular situation and I've been lucky to shop w/ one store & single SA. I would venture to say your purchase history lies with the boutique purchased, not with H, so new store would expect some purchase history in their boutique to establish.

I think inventory is very low, patience this year might have to be more for all of us than in past years. Many hermes lovers have spent over 1:1 ratio and are waiting for offers or the right bag this season. I don’t think the SA doesn’t want to offer you your dream bag, I think she is trying but inventory is low and SM has to approve the offer based on your relationship with the store.

I know this is one of those repeat questions that get asked over and over again, but does spending rollover into the next year? I just got my dream bag and I seriously feel like I'm at purse peace (for now :giggle:). I have a few more little things that I want to get here and there this year and I don't plan on adding a quota bag to my wishlist because that's how happy I am with what I have right now.

Another question is do people get offered bags even when they don't have any bags on their wishlist? Or are bags only offered when you've asked to be considered for one?

Congrats on getting your HG bag!

I’m like you thinking I’m at “purse peace” (love the term!) but my SA calls me to offer me bags if she thinks I’m interested. Granted I rarely buy more than 1-2 quota bags in a year, there were a few years I didn’t buy any H items at all. But with my experience my purchase history is there as long as I’m loyal to their store. So it “rolls over” year after year, whether you spend $10k or $200. Just keep buying whatever you want and sometimes it’s when you’re not asking that you get an offer. If I do have a wishlist I do remind my SA though (like a gold on gold K), but I’ve learned to be patient with H and enjoy what I have.
