Thanks! I will let her know. She is feeling a little deflated....

Definitely depending on store and timing but I wouldn't be surprised that much spending (even if all in RTW/home/fine jewelry) would not be enough for a noir K25 Sellier. There are just too many strong buyers and many of them are not asking it for their first bag.

I guess what I'm saying is that for some stores it's a lot easier to wish for that as a second or third bag. Or prepare to spend a lot in a short amount of time.

Seconding all that have been said. My SA told me it’s not that they hold bags from me, they just don’t get enough shipments. I got K32 sellier very quickly from my major spend as according to him it was a size less sought after

Hi Nikka007, would you by chance put a number to what your SA considered a major spend?

I'm in the UK so probably less relevant, I spent 1,2:1 but across 2 stores (0.8 with THE store) however I'm sure I triggered the conversation with buying a Bearn wallet (the SA really got going, went to the store mgr and when came back he showed me colour options of which one was delivered approx. 2 months later). To be fair though - I bought things I really wanted ( i was super sceptical about getting K or B from them so focussed on bags and bracelets i wanted to use), didn't buy RTW (not my size :annoyed:), no shoes (size!), no gold (don't like it).

I think this is true because the last time I was in my sa seemed to be directing me to buy some but I guess I didn’t take the hint lol. Do exotic cdcs count? I feel like they do but could be wrong.
I think everything “counts” to some extent. Just depends on what other things you buy with it. Like if you buy another non BKC bag along with a bunch of other things, the bag counts. But if you only buy a non BKC bag, it doesn’t really count towards your quota.

When I feel deflated, I find it most useful to remind myself that it's supposed to be a journey and getting stuck on one set of particular specs does not really help me move forward. No matter the color, there's always outfits that match a bag and outfits that don't go well together.
I understand black is desirable as it doesn't age much but it is also less fun than a color I like.

I was informed that buying other BKC bags wouldn’t count towards my quota, or rather it may not count as much.

Hi all,
I have sort of a long distance relationship with my SA (2.5 hour drive) and I have worked with this SA for just about a year. I have been offered BKC before. Most of our communication is through email, and sometimes phone but typically email. The issue that I have with my SA is that the time of responding to emails is very inconsistent. Sometimes very quickly (within 24 hours) Sometimes it takes days. Most recently I have emailed about an issue I had with my wallet. No response. I emailed again 3 days after about another question I had about my twilly. No response. I emailed 2 days after to follow up. No response. At this point, should I wait for another few days before I give the boutique a call? I don't want to be so pushy yet I was not aware of my SA going on holiday or whatever. I don't want to assume I am being ignored just because I wasn't asking my SA to locate certain items to purchase. What are your thoughts?

Definitely give your SA a call. It's prime vacations season so there's a chance your SA may be away. I actually stopped receiving emails from my SA because they were inadvertently going into my SPAM folder. I didn't even realize it and I was wondering why she wasn't responding. Thank goodness I realized it in time because she had emailed me about a B and I would have missed out.

Ok .. today I went back to the boutique to pick up my Collier de Chien bracelet that my SA had scored for me.
When installed, she told me that she had a surprise for me!!

She went back with the orange box.
She unboxed it and I met my Birkin 30 togo Etain with Rose Gold Hardware.
I was so happy - couldn't realize it was true.

My SA prepared the bag for me, showing me the Clochette etc, I tried it, I was so happy, the smell of the leather was divine, the Etain color was perfect, the Rose Gold Hardware was shiny and so beautiful!

And then I saw the cracks.
On the strap.

My SA immediately called the Store Manager. The bag was declared "Invendable" - unsellable.
Next step for my B30: destruction.

I think that my SA was wayyy more disappointed than I was. Her face was so sad.
She said that the boutique was waiting for another exact same bag and of course she will reserve it for me.
But the fact is, we don't know when.

Ok - c'est la vie - I'm gonna wait
Sorry for you, Marmotte, but the other bag will arrive soon.
I think that with Hermes you learn patience :-) All the best for you.
