I am not sure if this is the right place for my question. I recently found out that I have two profiles created for me under two different names. Should I let my SA know so she can merge my purchase history together?

I had four profiles for years -- one each for my two homes and two offices. So silly. But the store can't consolidate them in the US. It has to make a special request for headquarters to do it. It was finally done this past year after a couple of requests.

Interesting related point (if I recall correctly it was this thread) on profiles. I was fairly certain that they are Europe wide linked but last week in Germany they asked me to create a new profile with their store as they could not see my U.K. one.

Are the profiles under the same store? If so, sure try to combine them. If they are different stores, I would pick which store you want to shop with going forward and only service that profile (unless you are interested in serving two profiles for double the quota bag allotment). I personally would not recommend combining the profiles if you intend to shop at two different stores within the same country as neither store will then feel strongly that you are their exclusive client.

Did this affect your chance of scoring a HG bag? Both of my profiles have some significant purchases in other departments but at one point my SA told me my leather good purchases ratio is too high. I wonder if she does not know I owned two profiles.

Both of my profiles are from the same store. One was created from first time store visit and the other one was created from online shopping. Both should be under the same telephone number and home address tho. Just different name because my preferred name and legal name are different.

I had no problems. I am a long time customer in both stores and the SM often took care of me herself, but would have someone else ring it up. I aways had my purchases sent home or to my office, and I imagine that's how it happened. I only learned when an SA told me as I was paying.

They are not linked in Europe in general. Some countries' stores may be linked (like benelux area), but i dont think most are.

I am trying to build a relationship with my SA, and in the future hope to get my HG bag. There are actually many items across fine jewelry and shoes that I want, but the problem is -- my home store is small, so inventory is always low and my SA doesn't have my size or color specifications.

It's been many months now and I still haven't made a purchase because there's been nothing to buy. Does anyone else have this issue? I see all the items I want on H.com but I would like to try to build a relationship with my SA and home store...

For shoes, if you are sure you like the style, I would ask for a transfer. So are jewelries. Obviously you don’t have to buy what you don’t want at the end. If they don’t have what you want in another store, I would ask for the SA to get the items from online. It still counts toward your purchase history for quota bags. I’m not sure if you have but you should bring up your list of item and be firm about what you want.

SA are happy to bring stuff in from other stores or inventory online. But it should be things you really want.

My question is this - if the store is small, I wonder if they also get less shipment of HG bags? Thus you would be competing with lots of people for fewer bags. Do you have another store nearby? Maybe somewhere you could manage to get to a few times a year? Unless, of course, you really connect with your Sa and you absolutely want to remain in that store.

I have this issue also, so I ask for things to be transferred from other stores. Your SA should have access to a list of inventory in other stores. As a second choice your SA can order you things from H.com, but I don’t think SAs get a commission from these purchases, but if they order for you then these items are part of your purchase history. I prefer items being transferred from other stores because then I don’t have to buy them in advance (like if I order from H.com). You can also go in on days that they get deliveries, and ask for items that you are really interested in be set aside for you. (There are probably customers already having items set aside for them in advance, which is why not all the inventory is displayed.)
