You are absolutely right, it varies from store to store, but usually walk-in kelly/birkin are in weird size and colour, lol

Not impossible. My first time in an H store was three years ago. I asked to see a Pico and then I asked to see a K28. I was shown one in Colvert that was stunning but I left empty handed bc I was not prepared to be offered anything so soon. This may be a rare experience but it certainly is possible. Good luck!

Not impossible. I have been offered a Kelly on multiple occasions at Madison Ave when I asked to see a Garden Party or Evelyne. And they don't know me at that store as I usually go to the Greenwich store.

I’ve been on this board forever and own two Evies but dappling with dipping my toes into a Birkin. My purchase history is from online so I don’t have a relationship with a SA. What are my odds in scoring something as a walk in? Also if they make an offer and you don’t purchase, is that basically a reputation crusher? :yucky:

Not at all! Plenty of people turn down bags and eventually get offered the bag they want. SA's understand this is a large amount of $$ to be spending, so you have to like it!

They usually are in bigger sizes and brighter colors when offered as walk ins from my personal experiences, but I think it varies from stores as I did notice that if a specific bag gets passed around to regulars and get declined it will get offered to walk ins.

I walked in for a CDC and was offered a K32 sellier in blue electric. Had to pass (glad I did, not my colour). It was a bag somebody didn't collect.
Since then I have become a loyal customer and mentioned jokingly similar opportunity but no K appeared and I'm 'wishlisted'. Whatever that means (not holding my breath).
